First Hawaiian Bank located between the United States Post Office and Tamura’s Supermarket. This bank is another alternative for the Waianae and Makaha residents to store their hard earned working money. I recently visited this bank location to pay my Hawaiian Telcom phone bill. Did you know it cost a fee of $ 1.00 to pay your phone bill at First Hawaiian Bank? Besides accepting payments for Hawaiian Telcom… First Hawaiian Bank was also one of the designated banks where I paid my Mililani Memorial Cemetery funeral plan. That was 15yrs ago when I made my monthly visits to First Hawaiian Bank and my funeral plan is now paid in full. When the bank had their CLIMBINGRATECD offer… that’s when I was also storing my money. I liked the idea of having some money stored aside and sitting in the bank gaining interest. I think it was every quarter the interest rate would go a little bit higher(I could be wrong on this… LOL). The employees at First Hawaiian Bank are always friendly. Depending on what type of transaction a person is doing during the time of visit… the waiting time could be under 10 minutes. Waiting time could be longer if it’s a transaction that needs bank managers consultations. Maybe one day I would open up a savings account here at the bank. I just need to remember to set aside some money for the day I do decide to open up a savings account.

Unfortunately their upgraded ATM machine does not allow you to make a deposit like the older machines. Other than that, an excellent bank with excellent customer service.
