This is by far one of thee best drive-in’s on the coast. It’s not fancy by any means but they’ve stuck to a consistent pattern of providing good food in good portions at a good price. We’ve come here a kazillion times and not once have we had a bad meal. It’s held up very well because of this despite having an L&L Drive Inn right across the street. Truthfully, i’d come here over L&L in a heartbeat. Like I said, their portions are generous and at a great price. Their menu options are huge and everything i’ve tried is good! Even their mini plates are pretty big and at under $ 6, it’s unbeatable for a hearty meal on a budget (and i’m always on a budget). I love their Chicken Katsu and the sauce is SO good! My favorite, though, is the grilled pork chops. I HAD to mention this because I usually HATE pork chops (I know, HATE is a strong word) but when I tried it here for the first time, I literally put down the fork and ate it cave-[wo]man style! Sorry, not a pretty picture but I’m trying to prove a point here.
From burgers to Hawaiian food to New York Steak, they’ve got it. Only wish they had desserts. I’m a dessert kinda person so i’m always bummed to have to pick up the sweet stuff somewhere else. Otherwise this is our go-​to plate lunch spot when we’re super hungry and on a budget.

Great food especially the garlic shrimp, but very messy to eat. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because they only have outside eating and the area was full of flies so it was difficult to eat there, but too messy to eat in the car!

Délicieux… Juste pris une portion de crevettes sautées à l’ail, copieux et rapport qualité /​prix excellent. Vu les autres commentaires, le reste de la carte à l’air d’être à la auteur.

One of our places for local grinds on this island. There’s a plate lunch across Aulani but we drove to this shady neighborhood each and every time for pick-​up and eat at hotel. Delicious and to-​die-​for mochiko chicken and garlic shrimps.

Only takes cash and no atm close by so cant even eat there. Who carries cash. Its 2014!!! Even soda machines take cards.

This place is ono. Their BBQ chicken is way better then LnL across the street. The mac is not as good as some places but defiantly still tasty!

No frills when it comes to the look of the place but the food is excellent. Had the garlic shrimp that was to die for. It’s best to pick up and take to go because they have outdoor seating and the areas not that great.

Best BBQ chicken plate lunch I have had on the island.
Flavor was way better than the other place (you know what I meen).

Stopped at this Barbecue joint on the way back to Waikiki and what an awesome find. Had the BBQ mixed plate and everything was cooked PERFECTLY. Looks a mess from the outside but trust me, TRY IT!
