I have nothing positive more negative to say about this location. At first I thought that maybe it was light inside due to it maybe being a newer location but they’ve been in business for a while. Thrifty locations don’t always have awesome stuff the first time around. But on a plus side the prices are low, it’s clean, and there are many different sections to look in. That’s the fun in thrifting. Maybe next time it’ll be better:

This post is in regards to the donation section. I have not been in the actual store. I arrived with many boxes to donate, some were somewhat heavy. The guy at the door was sitting in a chair by the desk and told ME where to put all the boxes. He never offered to help or even got up … just sat there and casually glanced at me while I did all the work. So inconsiderate and lazy. I will definitely be donating elsewhere in the future.

Clean and organized. Went looking for fitted sheets and didnt like that they arent individually priced. Hence the 4 stars… Friendly staff

Very clean and well organized. Easier to maneuver and navigate through than the Goodwill. There is a great selection of furniture and I’m talking about solid wood!!! The parking is conveniently located on the side of the building.

I absolutely love thrift store shopping. If you take your time you can find some great deals. This store always has 50% off of everything(well both Times I came in the past 2 months). The staff at this store are very helpful and friendly and the customers seem to né regulars. I’ll definitely be back when I’m strapped for cash :-)

So I went to visit Sally Ann, with no expectations, and lucky me, the whole store was HALF off for the day! I bought some furniture for my niece who just got her own apartment, some duffel bags and some DVD-Rs…ALL for $ 40! The sales lady said they do the half off days at random, and they don’t know about it until the day before the sale, so it’s hit and miss with those sales, but if you have a chance, stop by, there’s always something to find.

I loooove the Salvation Army in Wahiawa! I’m by no means a pack rat and I always go through my stuff every month to find what I don’t need, want, or like so that I can donate it! Located in Wahiawa across from Tamura’s Market. The parking lot is SMALL but you could always find street parking if the lot is fill(which I’ve never seen). The Salvation Army in Wahiawa has a truck in the back of the store where you can park next to and just load your donated goods into. You don’t need to see an employee(unless you want a receipt, which I never want), so I just swing in, park, load up, and leave! Very convenient and easy! I’ve been inside before with my boyfriend’s mom when she bought 2 dressers. They were oak wood and in pretty nice condition! The employee had said that a military family donated it before moving. She bought each dresser for $ 200. Cheap considering it’s «real» wood. You can find some goodies if you look!

By rights, this should have been my first review. It is my second favorite thrift store on the island, and the place where I’ve bought a house full of furniture over the years.(See my review for Pacific Junk Removal to understand that I had THREE beat up couches removed recently. Sigh…) Since it was not my first review, I’ll make it my 42nd, as this Salvation Army location has truly been my answer time and time again. This is a teenie tiny spot hidden across Kilani St from Tamura’s. They have more furniture here than anything else, but I’ve pulled a few good outfits and a library of books from this store as well. They do not have kid’s items, and very little in the way of housewares, but Goodwill is just on the other side of town to fill those needs. Friendly staff and well organized goods. What more can anyone ask?

Small. But everyday is military discount day. If you can find something in here it’s worth it. They also sell funiture here, where the Goodwill in Wahiawa doesn’t. Also if you can’t find it in the goodwill down the street you can probably find it in here.
