The receptionist Rowena was very nice and professional! She made making the appointment very pleasant and I even got a next day appointment! I can’t wait to see how awesome the visit goes tomorrow!

I have been going to Dr. Kobayashi for over 25 years. When you find an excellent doctor with a great staff, you hold on tight. Always so nice to go to my appointment — they seem more like family. Always greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyable appointments, and I never feel rushed to ask questions. I am so happy to have Dr. Kobayashi and his awesome staff taking care of my eyes. I love getting my eyes checked at Dr. kobayashi! He’s very friendly, quick, and very informative. Extremely knowledgable and it felt like I’ve known him for years! Even if it was just 3 visits! His staff is absolutely wonderful and attentive. Their equipment is very much up to date with the latest technology. I love that they send emails and texts to remind you of your upcoming appointment.
Coming from having almost a phobia of putting on contacts to effortlessly learning it in about 5 minutes was amazing. I literally was freaking out since I’ve always worn glasses. His staff was extremely patient with me, even with my self doubt. But eventually, success! I love it.
Parking can be found either on the street or right in front of their building. They have varying hours throughout the week so it’s best to call them or check out their website :) they’re super nice and awesomely professional. You’ll love their little staff!

I had issues with my contacts and had to get new fittings. Dr Kobayashi was wonderful and the staff was amazing as well. Id recommend anyone who is out traveling and not able to go to their regular eye care professional to come here and receive the best care and options along with some island Aloha. :) Thank you for taking care of my eyes~~

Truly, Dr. Art has the best chair side manner! I’ve been going to him for many, MANY years and it’s always made my visits much more pleasant! Not only that, he truly cares about his patients. Several others in my family also go to him and they feel the same way. Even when I lived near Ala Moana I still kept going to him because it can be difficult to find a great doctor so it was never a problem to make the drive to Wahiawa.

My husband had a referral to come here for his contacts, so I decided to schedule myself for a checkup around the same time. The medical admin staff was courteous and knowledgable, and Dr Hamada was wonderful. They were able to order sample contacts for my husband that he could pick up the same day, even though his prescription is uncommon. We had a great experience here! Highly recommend.
