Well I walk in when they were getting ready to close, I felt bad I didn’t check the store hours but they were nice and happy to serve me. I had no idea what to order but the girl was patient with me and suggested some of their popular choices. So I ordered the long board burrito with kalua pork, refeied beans, rice, sour cream, and guacamole. It was delicious! My hubby had the same but chicken instead, in my opinion I think the pork was better. Great service and food. The only thing is the parking is very limited I parked at walgreens.

I had my very first fish taco here!(Surprised? I know!) I was really excited for it, but the fish and the coleslaw-like vegetable medley was A-ok. For some reason, it tasted a little off for me. There was a slightly bitter taste from the lettuce maybe? I wasn’t too sure. But I took a bite of someone’s kalua pork taco, and YES. I should’ve gotten that one instead! So much flavor in such a small taco. The portion size was a bit small for my liking, but we weren’t very hungry anyway. It was perfect for a snack between meals. But yes, I definitely recommend the kalua pork! Next time I’m in the area, I will try it in a burrito. :)

Read a review claiming vegan friendliness was not a thing. The fact that I was asked«is cheese and sour cream okay?» Is friendly enough for me. Burritos are tasty and filling. Try the habanero salsa if you like spicy.

Meal ordered: Longboard burrito with kalua pork. Pros: 1) Some of the tastiest kalua pork I’ve had in Hawaii. The burrito was really big, which was worth the money. 2) The chips and salsa were great. 3) The staff were nice and friendly. Cons: 1) I believe that the restaurant needs better ventilation since it smelled like cleaning chemicals inside. 2) Parking was an issue here. Summary: 1) I really enjoyed the burrito and will go back again but I might not want to stop there to eat if I can’t find parking.

Good Mexican food is difficult to find on the island, but Killer Tacos does a pretty good job. The food is good and the cost is reasonable. I gave four stars vice five because parking is not that great(it’s easier to park at Walgreens and walk over) and there is very limited seating(if you go right at lunch you probably won’t get a seat). Other than that the location is pretty convenient.

I’ve been to Killer Tacos on Haleiwa and thought they were ok. I was running around picking up lunch and decided to run in and get a fish taco. Just in the two block walk back to the tattoo shop the taco was really soggy and wet. I had a few bites of it and threw it out. I’m not sure if it tastes better in the restaurant, but either way the flavor of it or quality just wasn’t what I was expecting. The guy behind the counter was pretty nice though.

I came back and had the kahlua pork tacos, and they were really good. Also, the staff was super friendly.

My coworkers and I visited this joint for lunch one day. I got a taco salad and a got a kalua pork burrito to go(for my husband). The taco salad was pretty yum. The taco bowl for the salad tasted fresh and was pretty big. I was pleasantly surprised that the greens used for the salad was a mixed blend of(maybe) local greens. The chicken was cooked well and hard great flavor. A very good taco salad. My husband ate his burrito several hours. I had a bite. It was still pretty good. I wouldn’t say that it was like kalua pork tasting though. It seemed more like barbacoa than kalua pork, but either way had very good flavor. Aside from the disappointment in the kalua pork not tasting like kalua pork, it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain what everything was and even made recommendations. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. I would return to have lunch here again.

Killer Tacos, more like Killer bill. When we first went to Killer Tacos, my wife and I where expecting awesome food. When I saw our nachos being microwaved, I became weary. The burritos where large, but size does not excuse lacking flavors. The price was alright but for what you are paying, you are expecting more. The customer service was good on the other hand. Very friendly and recognized us the second we came in. Asked if we had any questions and made the food quite fast. All in all, the microwaved nachos where the highlight of our dinner.

Craving some Mexican food or a salad, ski barcodes to stoping to this hidden gem. Hidden because you can’t exactly see the restaurant from the street once following the direction of the sign. Stopped in and the first rhino saw in the menu was«Killer Pupus», «Killer Tacos» & «Killer Burritos». Everything looks and sounds good. The shells look all corn made and very appealing. After ordering a burrito and a hard taco, I was told they only have chili tomato or spinach tortilla. I was surprised to hear only two options, but it was a first for chili tomorrow tortilla. Considering i like chili and tomato, it wasn’t a hard choice. After getting my food, I noticed that I ordered this massive killer burrito and the taco wasn’t far behind. The burrito came with choice of meat(Kailua pork, roasted chicken or beef), beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gayo. Same for the taco. Burrito was $ 7.79& taco $ 2.19. Both were great. Definitely recommend this place!

Pretty darn good tacos. Got the fish and hard pork taco. Friend got the super chicken nachos. Price is the best for the value I’ve had since being in Hawaii. Really fast. Really friendly!

The chicken, fish, and ground beef tacos with lettuce, cheese, and salsa was amazing. The tacos had just the right amount of everything.

Always delicious and they always roll a fatty. Tried the fish burrito and it was good, but not as good as the fish tacos. Enjoy them with salsa on the side to maximize the flavor of the fish and sauce together. Thought the fish is my favorite you cannot forget their classic Kalua pig tacos. Only good taco place on the island that isn’t simply Taco Bell. Small restaurant inside with bathrooms and friendly staff. Parking lot is a pain in the ass. Drink selection is good but the cup for water is tiny; please give me a larger water cup when I am buying 4 tacos for myself and another 2 for my wife. Don’t be that cheap!

Small place big taste. I wouldn’t recommend parking in front because space is limited but so is any place in Wahiawa. I feel really lucky to taste such flavors that make my taste buds miss the beans and kalua pork of legendary reputation.

I mean, it’s a good place for some shredded meat tacos and burritos. Not what I expected. Still a cheap place to go and have a quick meal and not feel guilty about it.

Same menu as in Hale’iwa, pretty much the same quality. Pros: tasty tacos; lunch deal Cons: parking, inconsistency I write this review in the context of Mexican food in Hawaii. With exception if a few taco trucks, the islands are a Mexican-food desert. So I like Killer Taco for what it is… here. If it was on the mainland, I’d have different standards. That said, I am a fan of KT, and I’m happy they’ve opened their latest outpost in Wahiawa, not too far from me(hey, I’d have preferred Mililani, but you can’t have everything). I used to love the Kalua Pig for my protein choice, but I actually prefer the chicken lately. The best deal here is the two-taco special with a drink for 5 clams. Crunchy tacos with house made shells that are delicious. Sadly, they can be ruined if you get a new employee who doesn’t drain the meat well before filling your taco. Soggy soggy. The taco salad uses a similar shell-bowl and has a ridiculous amount of food, making it the second best deal. Burritos and fish tacos are okay, and comparatively spendy. The chips and salsa are boring — they’d knock it out of the park if they’d do chips like their crunchy taco shells. Parking can be challenging because of one-ways in the parking alley and the streets, it’s easy to miss, and it’s definitely a lunchier kind of place, since they’re only open until 7pm. But if you have a taco itch and the Bell won’t scratch it, you could do a lot worse than Killer Taco.

First timer, after seeing for so long. It was good, ate the long board burrito. Not bad taste. If I can eat the whole burrito it might not be enough for men. Prices we’re okay. Good service, parking on side is limited.

Very nice people. Nomnomnom on everything. The burrito was ok. Only a little watery bc of the black beans.

I do like the food I really do, however two factors just way overwhelm the food quality. Cost and Portion size. Now I understand this isn’t an American family restaurant like Chili’s or Applebees. I’m not going to get enough food to feed an army of midgets for 13 dollars, however I expect to get more than 2 fish tacos(with not even half a filet each) for 15 dollars. 3 stars for quality and friendliness but not much else.
