Hawaii Tactical Outfitter

I’ve been wanting to come to this store for a while now but have never had the chance, until today. Once I walked in I was immediately greeted by Summer with a big smile. She asked if I needed help. I told her no that I was just looking. Within a few minutes she asked if I was still doing o.k. I was in the store for about 10 minutes when I asked if they allowed dogs in the store because mine was sitting in the Jeep. Lindsey said absolutely, as long as he was on a leash. I brought my dog in just to be treated just as well as I had been. Summer and Lindsey spoke and played with him while I was still shopping. Summer gave him a bowl of water as well. Lindsey played with and petted him while no other customers were in the store. Customer service alone gives Hawaii Tactical Outfitter five stars!!! Great selection of military and police gear with great prices!!! BEST SELECTION OF MILITARY BOOTS ON THE ENTIRE ISLAND OF OAHU!!! Thank you Summer and Lindsey!

I live in kapolei and don’t mind making the trip to wahiawa for Hawaii tactical outfitters. They are friends and very helpful. I went in with cash and was short a $ 1. They helped me out with my purchase. Another time I went with my 2y.o. Son. He was cruising around the store and a female worker had given him a little trinket to put on his slippers. Always positive visits. Aloha!

So… Lol, this place is easy to find, however if you’re like me it’s only easy to find after you drive around the block a few times wondering how to get into the parking lot before going… «Oh». Yeah, I hardly ever stop in Wahiawa.
I only stopped in for a second since I was in a rush but my first impression was oooooooh so many rad things. The store was very clean and organized. I wanted to look around more but darn it I just couldn’t. Even though I couldn’t find what I needed I understood I was demanding something almost custom ordered so no big deal. (Actually lol they had what I was looking for I just needed a specific color)
However, the customer service was awesome. I’m not sure who I spoke with, the owner or an employee but he was very helpful. He recommended a couple of places where he thought I might be able to find what I need and even took the time to give me directions. I know I know, giving me directions is pointless because I’ll get lost anyway (lol but for the record his directions were on it because I found the place in one shot).
Anyway, I want to go back on a cruise day just to look around again. There is lots of parking, and they give 10% discount to military and police men just as a thank you so that’s really cool.

I found out something today… if I’m in this type of store with my husband, he’ll let me buy whatever I want. But I think that’s dangerous because just like Walmart or Target, you’ll be walking out of Hawaii Tactical Outfitter with more than one item.
Hawaii Tactical Outfitter is a tactical products store located in Wahiawa (if you’re familiar with Shige’s Saimin Stand, it’s located in that same building at the beginning). Hawaii Tactical Outfitter offers some of the known tactical brands at reasonable prices. They just opened up about two months ago. They’re knowledgeable and stocked for local law enforcement and military (10 percent discount!). Some of the items they have is apparel (clothing, socks, shoes), knives, flashlights, hydration packs, eyewear, batteries and essential survival items (i.e., first aid kits). If you happen to be in the Wahiawa area because you’re craving for Shige’s Saimin or Kilani Bakery, stop by Hawaii Tactical Outfitter. Just be careful or else you’ll be walking out of the store looking as if you’re preparing for a Racing the Planet Ultra Marathon, Zombie Apocalypse or a budding Doomsday Prepper (like me).

Went in with my husband and kids for my boys 10^th birthday. I didn’t know what to think of the store and as the mom, I was pleased! Kid friendly (with parental supervision of course) clean store, friendly service. Summer, an associate, was friendly. She brought balance to the tactical store. The owner, amazing service! He was involved and listened. I will be back for sure!

Stopped by the shop today to check it out for the first time. The lady behind the counter was very friendly, shop was clean and the price of boots was phenomenal! Looks like a hassle free one stop shop for «field trips». They are a little higher priced than on post but they also give a 10% military doscount. We’ll definitely be back.

The owner is a complete doofus! But Man is this store 10 times better than the rest! Boots were way cheaper than anywhere else and they have quality gear!

They have a wide selection of clothes, shoes, and military items. If you don’t see what your looking for they do have a catalog you can order. It’s ultimately a brand new camo shop.
