The search is over! Alice is the bomb. Great personality and does beautiful work. Color, cuts, short hair, long hair, curly, straight, updos… she does it all and is awesome!!!

Alice is an amazing stylist with 20 plus years of experience. I did my research on salons and decided to go with this one. I am glad I did, she fixed a horrible cut I got from Fantastic sams and did great job on the balyage pricing is a lot less than most shops. It’s easy to miss but it is literally right by the fire station on California avenue. Thank you Alice

The wait is over! After 25 years I’ve finally walked out of a salon feeling awesome about my hair! Alice Parsens, the owner/​operator of this modest pocket salon, expertly styled my hair in a unique and singular fashion.
I have thick naturally curly hair and although I’ve finally figured out how to control it, I usually walk out of a salon knowing that I would have to go home and «fix» it. This is not the case when you’re in Alice’s capable hands. Using just a medium round brush and a blow dryer, Alice pulled and twirled my hair into beautiful soft curls that I can still run my fingers through. In addition to giving me the best blow out ever, Alice also colored my hair.
I’m currently visiting family here on Oahu but I live in Philly. Since I’m going to be here for an extended period my stylist wrote down my color formula so that I can get my roots done while I’m here. Although my stylist in PA uses a different brand, Alice was able to closely match the formula using her salons’ brand. The results are nearly identical.
I didn’t get a cut today so I can’t give a review on her skills there but I can tell you that the scalp AND neck massage during the conditioning process was wonderfully relaxing and Alice’s prices can’t be beat. I got the color and blow out for $ 60.
I highly recommend this salon for visitors and kama’aina alike. Both for the friendly, cozy atmosphere and for the expert services. I’d definitely trust Alice to cut my hair in the future.
