Located right off 74, this is a fantastic and little known place that sells ice cream and fresh produce. I ordered the vanilla ice cream with homemade peach cobbler and it was delicious. If you have time and remember be sure to call ahead and they will make an entire peach cobbler to order. Trust me, it’s worth it! Since my first visit this place has been a regular stop on my trips between Charlotte and Wilmington.

So, as we’re driving down 74, leaving Charlotte for the beach, I mentioned to my boyfriend that I really wanted some ice-cream. I figured we’d end up at a DQ or Baskin Robbins… Then, out of nowhere, comes a sign from heaven, «Homemade ice-cream ahead.» We almost drove right past the unassuming road side shop but tore in just in time. I had a blueberry waffle cone, piled high with what seemed like 10 scoops. It was so much, I shared with my dog. :) Tasty stuff! The cone was perfection and the ice-cream was just as good. Cute little market store attached carries local produce, jams, etc. Looking forward to making this a regular stop on our way to and from the coast!

Amazing little quaint roadside store! I was passing threw town headed towards the beach & I’m happy I did. I got giant $ 3 fresh local watermelons and cantaloupes & they are delicious! Tons of fresh local grown produce from peaches, okra, tomatoes, green beans, and apples. They also have a wide variety of local jams & ciders. Great prices as well! I also got a peach cobbler with butter pecan ice cream, easily the best I’ve ever tried & I’ve tried quite a lot. Great service, hospitality, friendly people & they even have rocking chairs in front to sit and enjoy yourself. If you’re in the area, this place is A MUSTSTOP. Perfect to bring the whole family, a date, or just yourself. I’ll definitely have to make a trip back very soon! I’d reccomend Peaches & Cream to any stranger, definitely a great experience!

Great ice cream, homemade waffle cones, pies, produce, milkshakes and awesome peaches. Not to mention there was a great lady in the produce area that kind and helpful.

This place screams«mom and pop» and is a must stop for anyone driving through the area. It’s not every day that you have access to homemade ice cream. We couldn’t decide what to get and weren’t sure when we’d be back so we ordered the triple scoop to try a little bit of everything. We had the Blueberry, Strawberry, and Peach ice cream. All phenomenal — all worth a try. My favorite though was the Blueberry(my wife’s favorite was the Peach). All of the ice cream had little chunks of fruit and tasted like they had made it a few hours prior. Prices were reasonable too($ 4 for the triple scoop). They don’t grow all of the fruits and vegetables that they sell in their shop but they do grow their own peaches at a farm a few miles away. Because of this we also ordered some Peach Cobbler. Also superb! For those of you looking for indoor seating, you’ll be looking for a long time because they don’t have any. They do however have plenty of shaded seating outside on picnic tables and rocking chairs.

SIMPLY delicious! ran into this place on the way to Myrtle Beach last summer. My trusty co-pilot best friend and partner in food crime spotted the bright orange hue of the words«PEACHES and CREAM» as we cruised down the highway. Sweeeeerrve!!! We ventured into the parking lot. Opted for the Peach Cobbler with HOMEMADE banana ice cream. Flavor explosion of delicious all over the place!!! Every bite made from fresh ingredients, you can just TASTE the difference. Since then I’ve been considering ordering a batch, having them freeze it, and sent it to me.(Yes it’s that good). If I ever find myself in up to a 3hrs radius of this place I’m so making a pit stop!

Okay-this is the real deal. On my way from Charlotte to Wilmington, and the cute sign reeled me in. And then I saw it, as Lloyd Bridges used to say. An ice cream freezer of the old oaken bucket variety, with a little electric motor driving an outsize pully on the churn. Fruit stacked up in pallet boxes, fresh picked blueberries, peaches everywhere. In boxes, crates and a big pot of them simmering on old gas stove. I’m an old pastry maker(3rd gen), and farmer from the Upstate fruitbelt on Lake ontario. I’ll know heaven when I see it. A woman pulled up behind me, and I asked«Are we in heaven?». Indeed we were. Freshly churned peach ice cream, 3 different kinds of cobbler, all made by a crew of local kids, who couldn’t understand why I wanted a pic of the churn. I would also ask for a photo of a dinosaur if I saw one. The day I was there, there were about 6 flavors of homemade ice cream. Real whipped cream on top of everything. Ice cream parlors are all downhill after this: Brooklyn Gelato, Ohio soft serve, P*berry, anything in a carton are also rans for me now. This place should be in the Smithsonian where it can be properly revered by dessert juinkies. Worth the 100 mile drive from Charlotte. Don’t blink…
