Ridgeview Home Medical

The billing department is incapable of doing their job. They stole $ 1574 from me being dishonest and not listening to the customer.
Ridgeviews billing department did not submit the claim to the insurance company just used hostile tactics to collect money that was not owed to them.
THEN when billing did their job the insurance company accepted and paid the claim, Ridgeview refunded my money to my fsa account. I am not out that money to pay my other medical bills.
There is a specail place in hell for these kind of people.

I was asked to change my appointment from 12:30 to 11:30. I arrived at 11:30 and was told at 11:45 it would be another 15 minutes. It’s now 12:35 and I’m still waiting while the other 4 patients in the waiting room have been seen and then left.
Update: let me backtrack… I had heart surgery when I was a kid so any surgical procedure and dental cleanings I have to take antibiotics. This dermatologist never told me to take meds. Lucky for me (and him) I had antibiotics at my house from a dental cleaning I had this week. I took the meds before arriving for my appointment. When I told the nurse I took them, her response was «how much did you take and why did you take it?» When Dr. Darabi came in he asked me where my cyst was and how long I had it. Hello??? Shouldn’t that be in my file and shouldn’t he have read it before my procedure? So finally the incision was made and low and behold it’s not a cyst! I knew it wasn’t, I was always skeptical that it was because it felt very much like a bone (growth on the scull). So not only is it not a cyst, but now I will have a keloid (raised scar because of my asian heritage) on my forehead as well as the bump he thought was a cyst. Oh, and I may get a black eye from the blood draining down the inside of my face from this procedure.
I will never use this guy again. I wasn’t impressed with his brother in hematology either– very impersonal. My parents were not happy with the internist/​family doctor at Ridgedale 212 also.

Ok, so I can’t believe I’m reviewing a hospital but I’ve lived all over the metro and had two children (one at abbott) and the other at this hospital. It was like having a child at a spa, the rooms were so nice and spacious, it was quiet even though it was full. They had kitchens stocked with drinks and snacks that patients could take any time. The nurses were great, I literally didn’t want to leave. I’ve also been for other appointments and it’s so easy to park and get around this hospital. The staff is extremely friendly! I hope I NEVER have to go to another hospital again. They spoil you here!

Ended up going to the ER because my 2 year old got a gem stuck up her nose. Fun times being a parent! After trying my hardest to get it out at home it was clear we needed to go to the ER. The staff is so nice! The first nurse we talked to has us try some techniques to get it out and maybe save us from an ER bill but it didn’t work. We waited about 40 minutes before the ER doc came in to meet us. Super nice guy, he really did great with a scared screaming 2 year old. After what seemed like forever he finally got that sucker out! Hope she learned her lesson! I know I learned mine.
