Great food, reasonable prices, cool vibe, and friendly staff make this place a must try :) Sadly Epicurean is no longer serving here, thereby decreasing the variety of dishes, BUT the items they do serve are really good. Again, I am a HUGE fan of good service and staff that really cares, and this place has that. Don’t like the bread your sandwich comes on? They are happy to sub. Have dietary restriction? They will do whatever they can to help you out. For a relaxed meal that you can feel good about eating, stop in :)

Simply delightful. I give them only four stars for opening just before I leave town. Seriously though, its the best I can do after only one visit. From what I see they do everything right for a little café of this type. Perhaps not so successful as a coffee shop, though. More the place to come in, eat, and leave, rather than a place to get coffee and work/chill.

This crazy little coffee shop and restaurant is located inside the Hoffman Banana building at 4th and Jackson in downtown Waco. Two chefs run it, and the food is gourmet vegan and vegetarian. It is great! They are so creative with their dishes. They have a vegan buffet on Thursdays and Fridays that has so many items in it, each one better than the last. They also have casseroles available for you to take home. The frozen ones are half price(about $ 10) and the refrigerated ones are around $ 20 but prices vary. I really think you should try this place. It’s so different. Be careful, they have really odd hours.
