I really like this location, it is very convenient to my house and you can’t beat tender Tuesday! The food: it is always very hot and fresh! I posted a photo of the drive thru menu to give you an idea of your options. I’m either getting Tender Tuesday or the number 1 with an extra roll and extra side! The service: this can get a little sketchy, most of the employees are in high school or recent graduates so they’re still stubborn on asking for help(like with splitting payments) or getting things correct(double check everything before you leave) All in all its a great location, easy to navigate parking lot, plenty of parking and a fairly fast driven thru lane.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! Upon first pulling into the parking lot of this particular Bush’s Chicken located on Crest Drive here in Waco I couldn’t help but to notice how incredibly barren the exterior of the building and the parking lot were. In addition to being quite blank it was also, although not exceptionally dirty, a bit dingy and un-kept looking. Because of these things the restaurant had, almost immediately, a completely uninviting feel to it. But I trudged on and entered anyways and, amazingly, the interior was equally as, if not more, repelling as the exterior. The walls were decorated tastelessly with cliché, randomly placed decorations and dated, stained, peeling wallpaper. The floors and tabletops were in dire need of a good cleaning as they were covered in crumbs, straw wrappers, spill stains, and other debris. After overcoming the urge to turn and run away from this establishment in disgust I approached the ordering counter and was astonished to see that the prep station and other places within the kitchen were cluttered and dirty. One would think that at this point nothing could be disgusting enough inside of this awful place to make me cringe any more than I already was but they proved me wrong. Adding to my dismay I glanced to my right and sitting there right next to the cash register was a sani-bucket with grey-brown colored liquid in it and a dirty, stained rag halfway in the bucket and halfway sloppily draped over the side dripping dirty, smelly, god-only-knows-how-old sanitizer onto the counter that patrons are supposed to pick up their food on. Yuck. After waiting at the counter and gawking at the ungodly amount of filth around me I was approached by a young lady looking very unhappy to be serving me. Her hair was down(which is extremely unsanitary) and looking as though it had not been washed in a while. She was also not only chewing gum but SMACKING it. Right there in front of my face. To say that this caused me to lose my appetite would be the understatement of the century. Rather than greeting me she just stared at me with an irritated look on her face until I ordered my food. I ordered a four piece chicken tender with a side of mashed potatoes and cream gravy with a roll. This was brought out to me very quickly and this, I discovered later while eating it, was because it was not fresh. My food was not kindly handed to me when it was brought out; instead it was slid onto the counter carelessly before the young lady turned, again saying nothing, and began to walk away. I said thank you to which I got a half-hearted«mmh-hmm» as she continued walking with her back to me. At this point I was just about ready to sprint out so I took my food and left to eat in the cleanliness of my home. The food, as expected based on the rest of the experience, was mediocre at best. I will definitely not be going back to this Bush’s ever again.

Chicken is ok .Big pieces of chicken, the tea is good lobby was somewhat clean staff was very friendly going well beyond to help you, they get the orders out very fast. The biggest down fall is price much higher than kfc or churches.

Fried chicken was alright but no different than KFC. When I got it it was not hot, slightly warm. Mash had white gravy that was pretty blend. Got the Apple Pie, surprised it was fried upon order and I was expecting to be like the original McD Apple Pie before they switch to bake. After a bite, it taste like the pie dough is not fully cooked. Will not be back again.
