The staff are really nice and accommodating. Wish it was a drive thru but I would trade that for good service any day. They gave us extra chicken in our family meal and also provided plenty of large salsa cups that you have to ask for. A little further of a drive but it’s worth it.

I was immediately greeted by the store manager with a friendly greeting and then quickly took my order! I was then given a device to let me know when my order was ready to be picked up at the counter! I was also given a complimentary small cup to have a drink! My order was ready in a timely manner! I thought this El Pollo Loco was run very efficiently and the staff very helpful!

Havent seen the old lady manager in awhile. Good. Because she has the worse customer service skills ever in short very rude. New personnel Keshan is very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good vibes! Twice when we went to this place some time ago and they were out of chicken during dinner rush hour. Whaaaat… Bad planning. Anyway hopefully we won’t experience that anymore. I love their avocado sauce.

I’m addicted to El Pollo Loco and this place is nice and inviting. Anyone thinking of starting an AA for Mexican chicken!!! But then again, I don’t know if it’s an addiction I want to give up.

This review is specifically for Dana. She was extremely nice, friendly, courteous, and helpful. The service was quick, the place is clean, and the food is pretty good. Be weary though, they don’t have just tomatoes by themselves, only the pico de gao. Kind of a bummer. Otherwise, Dana’s great personality really turned my night around. A good choice for register duties. :)

Sad. They messed up my simple order of just legs and thighs meal. The manager was slow and distracted — it wasn’t even packed. The cashier was a young guy super nice good customer service. However, the rest of the staff were confused, slow, unprofessional. Probably will not come back to this location.

Absolute worst service that I have ever had at a fast food place. I waited in line only to be «greeted» by the rude cashier with an attitude who was obviously ready to be off of his shift. Very classy. I ordered my meal after 10 minutes of waiting, waited another five minutes only to be told that«we ain’t go no more chicken its gonna take 20minutes.» I was pissed and immediately asked for a refund. There were atleast 20 – 25 chickens roasting in the back — why were we not warned that NONE of them were ready before I paid? And then no apology or anything after my refund. Cheap place, very disgusted.

The food is just like any other pollo loco. But as far as customer service goes this is the worst service I’ve had at any pollo loco location. If you are on your lunch break do not come here! The service is sooo slow. I have never written a review for a fast food joint but I was soooo irritated today I just had to. This is the 3rd time I come and it’s always the same way. The guy who’s usually at the register, really tall guy, moves slower than molasses. He literally sees the long line of customers and he’s just taking his sweet time. Probably day dreaming of what he would be doing if he wasn’t at work. He never smiles at anyone either. Straight resting b face. The other employees are better as far as attitudes go. They’re nice and seem to have genuine smiles. I just feel that if you see a long line of customers you shouldn’t keep pausing to chat. Especially at lunch time as most customers are on their break and need to get back to work. Top it off they forgot my salad dressing and I had to return to ask for it. And once again the tall dude at the register sees me at the front counter, looks at me and then looks away. Like hello I was just here a couple of min ago I’m sure you realize I needed something otherwise I wouldn’t have came back!!! So annoying. Omg I’ve never complained this much on Unilocal before lol.

Everyone that works here have bad attitudes. They move slow like they don’t want to be there and the place is filthy.

Probably one of the slowest fast food joints around here. Also there is no drive thru.

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. Never write about chains because you just go in there & get what you want & leave… Went to get pieces of chicken earlier this week(too damn hot to cook)…told they were out of chicken at 9:00 p.m. Seriously?! They close at 10:00 p. m…not sure whose poor planning this could be blamed on… and got attitude when asked what else I could order(burritos, quesadillas…). I could make that s*%t at home… SOOOODISAPPOINTED… guess it’s back to Zankou…

I normally do not write reviews on fast food-based restaurants because there’s really not much to review about – I mean you grab food to go real quick, and usually the service is decent to okay. Not so much at this restaurant. This was my second visit at this EPL. Walked in at 12:25P, ordered my 08 pc chicken, one ranchero burrito, and 02 carne asada tacos. It took them 22 minutes to complete my order. Others with bigger orders who ordered AFTER me got their orders BEFORE me. I was utterly shocked. When I FINALLY got my order at 12:47P, not a SINGLE apology from the store manager, and no sign of feeling bad. Just a thanks. I thought wow, they just really don’t give a s**t about their customers. Even worst, when I got home and opened the box of chicken, it was darker than dust. It was charcoal chicken – pretty sure that’s what I DIDN’T order. They need to improve on their service, because they’re definitely not getting my patronage anymore. Overall grade: F(if they even deserve an F)

Not bad for some quick Mexican food, if that’s what you’d call it. I like the sides.

Best service I’ve ever had at a pollo loco. The gentleman who took my order gave me the best service tonight, I asked for two pieces of chicken and was more than happy to accommodate my order even after I changed it lol. He offered me a cup with ice for the rockstar I brought in, and when my order was ready, he offered tortillas. I declined(no carbs after 3 pm) I was just very happy. He grabbed a plate and all the utensils and ACTUALLYPRONOUNCEDMYNAMECORRECTLY! On top of that, the older gentleman who was cleaning tables took my tray out of my hands to throw my food away. Good people who wanted to give good service. Best to them. I just wanted to notice them. :D

I would have given them 3 stars, but because I am gluten intolerant and had as bad experience, they are demoted to 2 stars. I Googled«El Pollo Loco Gluten Free Menu,» and a page came up on their website. I noticed there were many items listed such as chicken tacos, salad with cilantro dressing and their spanish rice that said they were gluten free, however there was conflicting information on other sites that said the opposite. I thought the website had to be right, after all, it is their own website and they would be accurate. However, when I called their hotline which was listed on their gluten free page, I was told by a representative that their rice and cilantro dressing were NOT gluten free. I feel bad for anyone who took the websites word for it and got sick. It could also be that the website is right but the information that customer service has is wrong? Either way, I told them to send this onto management. I also sent them an email through their website. Its carelessness like this that people shouldn’t have to worry about. Gluten free is not a trend. There are many gluten intolerant people and

This place used to be great. It was always a little slow but in recent years it has taken a turn for the worst. The staff is just not on top of things. One time recently I went in there and four staff at the counter all took a break right in front of me, right when I was about to order, leaving no one to take my order. I went next door. Also, they let the local teens run a muck. They come in from Uni High across the street between 3 and 6pm. A hand full of them take over half the dinning area. They yell and laugh and curse. Then they leave the restaurant a patent mess. Basically, they think it is funny to leave after having a food fight. I watched as the manager walked right through them and said nothing. If it were my store, those kids would have been banned and I would call the school to inform them that their students are disrespecting the community. It was once a great little fast food spot. Now, not so much.

Just ok, nothing special about the location, food or service. Came here because I happened to be in the ‘hood and had a discount coupon for the 2 piece chicken meal.
