I have been searching for great Indian since I moved from the Iselin, NJ area.(Indian food capital of the North East) I am not a fan of those mediocre Indian Buffets and those high priced«wihite table cloth» ala carte places with only marginally better food. I was on the search for a place that served fresh and yummy Indian at a price point that allows me to try a few different dishes without breaking the bank. Tandoori Kabab has made me an instant fan. This place is a take out place with a few tables for those who need to eat on the run. Everything is made to order, so it may take a bit of time if they are busy, but it will absolutely worth your time. I am posting the menu so you can call ahead The Chicken Tikki, Palak Paneer and Chicken Kabobs were great!

I had a taste for Indian food. I did not feel like going to a buffet or going to one of the fancy places. I tried this place a whim and I am soooooooooooo pleased. This is a small hole in a wall, to go place. the foods pricing is very reasonable. Call head, though. You may to wait otherwise. I enjoyed the curry goat, chicken tikka and garlic naan. It was all delish! It was so good. I went two nights in a row.

I love the food here ! We started ordering this at work out of 25 people every single person loved their food! we have people of true origin of India and they say this is the best .the kabob is my favorite altho I have a taste for less spicy so i ask for that with extra cooling sauce… i also order the mango drink mixed with yogurt and its like nothing i ever tasted. Excellente !!!

Small Indian restaurant with 4 – 5 tables and supposedly massive amounts of take-out orders that result in extremely long wait times. I called in two orders of Chicken Tikka Masala($ 6.99), one order of rice($ 2.99), and a garlic naan bread($ 1.99), and they told me the wait time would be 45 minutes. When I arrived approximately 45 minutes later I probably waited another 10 minutes before my order was ready. So not sure if dining in will result in a better wait time(hopefully it does), but if you want to take it home, make sure to call ahead! Prices are in the more affordable range, and reflect single serving sizes. It’s important to note that the orders of curry or kabobs do NOT come with any rice, naan, or other carbohydrate, so you’ll have to have separate orders or cook it yourself. On the bright side, one order of rice can work with two orders of the Chicken Tikka Masala so yay for that. Taste-wise everything is pretty good, definitely worth a solid 4 stars. Tikka Masala is packed with flavor and they are very generous with the amount of chicken they give(not very generous with the vegetables though). However, the reason why I gave this place 3 stars is because my god the Chicken Tikka Masala was absurdly oily. Tasted great for sure, but that layer of oil on top is going to cost me(or my bowels) greatly later.

be careful. we were new customer first time on 4÷25÷15, our total was $ 17,97, they charged us $ 38.50. we realized after we were home. when we confronted them today(4÷26÷15) with the listed price on menu, not only they refused to refund, and onthe top of it, their attitude was. as if we were lying to them. our friends had similar experience. we wil never ever eat again in that place!!! caution be careful and count your bill before you leave.

I’m no authority on Indian cuisine but I think this place is worth a visit if you’re craving some tasty kabobs. I’ve come in a few times and was told the wait is at least 25 minutes because of catering jobs they take on, but most times they’ll get your food out much faster than advertised. Thanks for being honest! I usually get the tandoori or chicken tikka and the meat is always packed full of flavor while maintaining its juiciness. Juicy meat is good meat. The fish kabobs and roti are solid as well and the portions are pretty substantial for what you pay. If you know you want some kabobs on the weekend, I suggest calling in your order or… You can wait. The food is worth the wait though! All in all good food, good people, and good prices!

Extremely slow customer service. Almost feels like waiting for your child to be delivered. An ongoing issue I wish they would resolve. Even if you call in 30 mins before they will take an additional 45 mins.

I have been to this restaurant several times. Their food is great. My favorite is chicken bihari kabob and chicken biryani. The staff was pleasant. The naan came out hot and fresh. My husband and I really enjoy and will definitely be returning. Being in south jersey. it definitely does not compare to other desi restaurants in the area!

Ever since I found the menu from Asian halal meat i was so excited I went straight to the Resturent to order Chicken kababs, Haleem tandoori chicken and of course naan. I’ve always been looking for a Dasi halal Resturent, I used to go to street road Philadelphia halal Resturent just to get chicken kabab now I am so happy that Mr Maqbool opened up Resturent here. This place has become my usual place to order food every Friday and not cook and have a change of menu in my house from Afghani food to Pakistani. By the way every Friday I order food and the food has been great and very fresh.

Plastic forks, plastic spoons, styrofoam plates… No one said this 3 table reinvented Chinese takeout joint was fancy but the food was GOOD and FRESH. Swarming with local Indian patrons as well as people from other ethnicities, we had a huge feast for 4 for just $ 39 bucks. SCORE! Bring your own metal knife, you’re going to need it for the tandoori chicken. Yes, you read that right. 3 tables in the whole place.

Good Food. No doubt about it. And that’s the reason I visit them a few times each month. Poor service though. It take sau fully long to get your food and every time someone tells this to them, they’d go ‘oh we make everything fresh’ I get that but I am sure there are places who make fresh food and also a little faster so they need to pick up that balance. The other part I notice is that they are not open to hear any suggestions or feedback. I observed today one person trying to get their attention for a plastic glass. Finally when he got I and tried to give some feedback, they had all the excuses. Not once did they bother to ask the person what he did not like forget about apologizing. All in all, order on phone at leads 20 minutes in advance and only stay there as long as you need to pick up the stuff. I love this place and only hope they improve!!! Plus 5 stars for food. Minus two stars for service and attitude.

I found them on Unilocal, place is eat in & take out, Order for family of 4. Is 2 order chicken kabob 1 chicken Tikka and chicken finger and fries for my son. After 20 min they bring food for my wife and my Daughter & say my food and my 5 yr son food coming soon, After 5 min wait my wife & daughter start eating their food. When they finish the food then they bring my son food & forget my food when I ask them & say where is my Chicken Kabob. Answer is wait for other 20 min, we forget it. And start fighting in side Kitchen, you can hear out side. I cancel my food and share with my Son. I never have service like this they even never say sorry or apologize. They loose money and customer. Strongly say Don’t go there. Can’t say how is food good or bad they never bring my food.

Tried this new place twice. Excellent experience so far with the kadhai chicken, seekh kababs and chicken biryani. Essentially a take out joint. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

I happened to come across this restaurant on their second day in business and mentioned that I was looking to place a catering order for my office which was to be delivered in the coming week. I had been talking to a couple of Pakistani restaurants in Philly but they were not agreeing to deliver an order of my size or were charging too much. The owner at Tandoori Kabab offered to complete the catering order and to assure me of their quality, gave an on the house, full sized order of two of their items which was absolutely delicious. I placed a catering order for 25 – 30 people which was delivered on time, fresh, delicious, right amount and at the exact spice level I had requested. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They are new in town but clearly have great cooking experience, excellent customer service and a wonderful menu including halva poori«Lahori Nashta» daily :-D

Great food and great prices! Probably one of the best naans I have had in a long time! Try the Lahori kulcha! The chicken kebab and Bihari chicken are delicious and made to order. Nihari was also surprisingly good! They just opened up a week ago and plan on expanding their menu. It is very hard to find good pakistani food in the area and I am so excited about this place! Will def be back! They serve breakfast as well! The restaurant itself is small and more of a take out joint but you have to eat the fresh naan! There are a few tables and chairs. Service was great!
