Cake Stand Bakery

The cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies are excellent here. They also had an insane coffee cake with chocolate icing. So good. Prices are average $ 3.50 for a cupcake $ 2 per cookie.
The only complaint I have is they don’t offer donuts (when I went) and they only had 2 flavors of cookies. I get that it’s the «cake stand» but in a bakery, donuts and cookies are usually my go-​to.

My gf was dying to try this cute bakery that outshines the humble strip mall that it is housed in. Bad idea to come here on an empty stomach as everything looks so good, and you might just convince yourself to buy a whole cake when you have no need for one.
We used admirable restraint and kept our selections to a few small desserts. It was hard to narrow down the choices, but we eventually agreed on a peanut butter cookie, an individual cheesecake, and lastly a butterfingers brownie bar. The cookie and cake were good but not taste bud blowing. But the brownie, if I tried that while standing my knees would have buckled. This may have been the best brownie type treat I’ve ever had, and trust me, I’ve had a lot.
We will definitely be back for further research, specifically in the brownie department. And there is a pound cake with an obscene amount of chocolate ganache that taunted me as well as a chocolate skull. This elegant yet plain bakery boasts some of the best baked goods I have EVER had bar none!
You are greeted by a very clean store & friendly staff with minimal décor — none is needed — the beautiful baked choices are art in themselves!
After oooh’ing and aah’ing, we decided on a Butterfingers brownie bar that was so decadent, a perfect giant slightly sugared peanut butter cookie and a mini densely delish cheese cake.

We live in Texas but every time we are back in Jersey we make sure to get our Cake Stand fix. Do yourself a favor and go try their cinnamon rolls which are only served on Saturday and Sunday’s. Best damn cinnamon roll I have ever had.

This is our local go-​to bakery. Everything we have tried tastes homemade and the quality of the ingredients shines through from the vanilla bean in the frosting on the hummingbird cake to the seasonal fruit in the tarts (my favorite is blueberry almond). Prices are reasonable for the quality. My husband is addicted to the oatmeal cranberry cookies and the blondies. I am always looking for a reason to stop in to get a small treat to brighten my day.

The best bakery anywhere! Love this bakery, the lemon pound, the chocolate smore tart ! everything in this bakery is divine! The presentation is just as good as it tastes! You cant go wrong here and the prices are reasonable!

Ok so initially a few years ago I reviewed that I was not over the moon about their cupcakes but I’m sadly addicted to the peanut butter and jelly bars!!! Today I also had a fabulous sticky bun that I seriously can’t say enough good things about!

The cupcakes in this bakery are unbelievable! The are soft and moist on the inside with a perfect crust on the outside. I don’t know how they do it. The icing is also not overly sweet. This is a real treat!

Everything I’ve tried here is great. Pricing is about average for the area. The lemon raspberry cake is divine. Make sure you try the cinnamon buns as well!

Very nice place and staff. Took very good care of our Bike Clubs visit this morning. They were quite ready for 40 of us .
The scones went over very well and I found the Cinnamon Bun to be first rate. Cupcakes looked great maybe next time.

Place was clean, and staff was friendly. Tried some cupcakes Yeah, a bit pricey, but then again, expensive specialty cupcakes is all the rage now, isn’t it?
Everything LOOKED delicious. We did find the cake slightly on the dry side, but the biggest drawback was the icing. Sweet and delicious, yes, but way too much of it in proportion to the amount of cake. It was more like we bought a glob of icing with a little bit of cake on top. I personally thought the chocolate icing was pretty salty, considering it shouldn’t be salty at all. Reminded me of a chocolate-​covered pretzel.
Might stop in again if in the area to try something different, but not going out of our way.

My mom and go there at least once a week because the quality and taste of the things they bake are so good the chocolate walnut brownies are fantastic the pbj cookies are outstanding there is just to many other things I could go on and on in short they are the best around hope they stay around for a long time

I’ve ordered two birthday cakes from here so far and picked up an assortment of desserts for friends on a number of other occasions, and I have been more than happy with the quality and value this bakery offers compared to nearby competitors like Classic Cake (where I used to go). While the variety of baked goods isn’t as extensive, there is still plenty to choose from. I’ve been most impressed with their cakes, which are generously sized, delicious, and inexpensive.

This place is amazing. I ordered few goodies for my party, and the taste is homemade and wonderful. Kind of pricey but worth it.

Just wanted to say job well done to the owners of cake stand. Your cakes cookies and brownies are really amazing. Everything tastes homemade and it’s obvious the ingredients are of high quality. I ordered my son’s 1^st birthday cake from this shop and it was perfect! It was beautifully decorated, delicious tasting and received so many compliments from our guests. Additionally, the shop itself is beautiful and new and service was friendly. Other small treats we have picked up (chocolate croissants, cookies) have been delicious. No complaints here and this will be my go-​to spot!

As a self proclaimed baked goods expert, I am giving this place an A ++++! When you walk in, it feels like you are transformed into another world filled with delicious treats!
In the mood for breakfast? The selection of scones, croissants, muffins, and coffee cake are delectable. The chocolate chip scones are my absolute FAVORITE! Baked to perfection, they pair nicely with a morning coffee. I forgot to mention… the granola… OH MY GOSH. I am absolutely addicted. The bakery has only been open under two weeks, and I have already gone through 2 bags of this stuff!
Time for a snack? The displays are FILLED with options. Cupcakes, dessert cups, brownies, cookies… the choices are endless. I usually walk out with a treat for myself and some to share.
If you have not been here yet, you are absolutely missing out!
I recommend the mini apple tarts. You will NOT be disappointed!

Prior to Cake Stand opening, a friend of mine knew the owner and used her for my wedding shower at work. Everyone was in awe of how beautiful and tasty everything is. People are still talking about the desserts from my shower months later. Holly’s attention to detail is beyond amazing. I don’t know how she can so much detail onto the smallest of baked goods. Not only are they beautiful, they are without a doubt the best baked goods I have ever had! I also used her to create dessert favors for my rehearsal dinner. They were once again a hit! Now that her bakery is open, I find I cannot drive near Voorhees without making a stop. On the weekends she has cinnamon buns and they are truly a piece of heaven! I make my family wake up early to make sure we can get some before they sell out. They are beyond delicious! I have tried so many of her baked goods and I have yet to find one that I didn’t like. My six year old son is in love with Cake Stand’s iced sugar cookies. Not only are they adorable but they are so delicious. He now refers to them as «the good cookies!» I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a sweet treat! The only downside I can see is that my waist band may be expanding now that her desserts are so accessible!
