Little truck shop on the parking lot of a city park in Volcano. It was raining when we were there and they don’t have any covered area for sitting, so we ate in the car. But it was really really good !! And the portions were rather big. For 2 adults and 2 kids, we ordered a Crazy Noodles plate, a Stir Fry Cashew Nut plate and a serving of fried spring rolls for a total of $ 29 and it was more than enough ! Thanks Unilocal for letting us find this great place !

Awesome food made fresh to order. Large portions and probably one of the best priced places to grab a bite in the area. For kids or small eaters, you could easily split one dish. Highly recommend the pineapple curry!

This is probably my favorite Thai place to eat. Food tastes authentic. You actually have a Thai person cooking. Love the crazy noodle, brown fried rice and pumpkin curry. Fried ice cream and spring rolls is a must! thai ice tea needs improvements, tastes a bit watered down & very inconsistent in taste. Overall nice owner. Highly recommend this reasonably priced and tasty food truck!

So happy to have found this little gem! The food truck is near a park, so the setting is awesome. We sat at the picnic tables and ate our food amid the Hawaiian jungle. It’s a simple little set up; the man who runs it takes the orders and payments, someone in the truck cooks to order. Delicious! You won’t be disappointed!

Such good Thai! Really hit the spot after a rainy hike at Volcanos. Tried the fried rice, crazy noodles, and avocado curry – all were delicious! Each dish was around $ 10 and they have vegetarian options. Seems like most of the locals call ahead to order and pick up food. However you order, just do it!

Easily some of the best thai food we’ve had in the country. They actually have thai people cooking the food. Came out lava hot, and they used great ingredients. It’s going to be tough to find thai food that good back on the mainland, and we’ve spent time in Thailand so we know how it should be. Gotta go if you’re in the area

Still one of the Big Island’s hidden treasures. If you drive up to see the Volcano, PLEASE take a short side detour and taste for yourselves. Michael’s keen sense of his culture’s cuisine will NOT disappoint … Five Onos out of Five

A hidden gem. The tuk tuk wagon came highly recommended from our local hosts as the best food around. They were right! Excellent Thai cuisine to be had here, folks. The avocado spring rolls with curry dipping sauce were fresh. The classic pad Thai was excellently prepared. Very reasonable prices and a friendly owner. A great stop over from kona to Hilo or from Hilo to/from the volcano national park.

Awesome sauce and the curry is fabulous, order it spicy for a good kick. Ate 3 out of 4 meals here while in Volcano Village. To go and they deliver too!

It was raining, so I ended up eating in my car, but it was probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had… and I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food.

Can I give more than 5 stars?! Seriously, stop here if you’re in the area. Its amazing. Generous portions at great prices cooked to order. The owner stands outside and takes your order while the cooks work their magic. We split the chicken fried rice and had a couple of the fried banana things. Sad that we won’t be on that side of the island so we won’t be able to eat here again!

Mahalo again Peter and William. Our dinner was onoliscious as usual. I really appreciate you folks letting me place our order right at closing time and you waiting for me to truck up the hill to pick it up. Mele Kalikimaka and Hau’oli Makahiki Hou! Ohhhhh! Are you gonna be home or off to the snowy frozen tundra called the Mainland. #GoCubbies

If you have never had Thai food, you might enjoy this. This Thai food sucks. It sucks as any kind of food really. The curry had a weird gritty texture. The rice was not edible. The taste was boring, plain, unavailable to taste buds. I gave the 2 star reward because it’s inexpensive… and if you are broke, it will do. But if you are shopping for a bargain with some flavor, do yourself a favor and eat at the KMC cafeteria.

Good food, quick. Definitely appreciated the playground nearby for our little ones. Chicken pad Thai and chicken red curry, both tasty.

Your driving through the the jungle on your way to the edge of the volcano to sacrifice another virgin to the fire gods and you think«man I’m hungry» Then just pull over at this little truck and get some of the most delicious fresh authentic Thai food you have ever had. We tried an assortment including Tom Kha soup, crazy noodle and pad Thai. We also had spring rolls and avocado rolls which were astounding. This is the way food trucking should be done. No giant crowds. No groups of screaming fans. Just a drive through remote jungle terrain off some nowhere road side stand and your there. LOVEDIT! my Dad hates Thai food and even he said«Wow! That was delicious… Does it always taste like this? «he also said«I’m freaking starving» but you get the point! Thanks TUKTUK.

The cook tasted my food with the ladle he as cooking my food with. They have a passing grade from the department of health, but this incident should be an automatic fine, at the very least. I went to Thai Thai Restaurant down the road instead. Clean, polite, friendly service, good food.

Some of the freshest food I’ve had from a food truck! I’ve tried some awesome food trucks in Portland and California and this is one of the best. It’s not super quick but it is super delicious. It’s also cheaper than the other thai place in town… and definitely just as good… well, I’d say better. I love this place and am so happy to have this little gem in Volcano!
