Pretty solid place. Cheap prices, good beer, decent food (from the bowling alley, but they deliver to the bar). We went for a pre dinner drink and snack, the bar was pretty empty but the people who were there were very friendly and conversational. Seemed like regulars, mostly watching the Opening Day game. The bartender was a young guy, very welcoming and laid back. We had two beers, fried mushrooms and seasoned fries for $ 15. Price can’t be beat.

The Lava Lounge, hidden inside the military rec camp, is a surprisingly great and bustling place to grab a drink inside the park.
They have comfy booths, nice stained glass windows, and a bustling crowd around happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays. The happy hour Mai Tais were $ 4, plenty strong, and pretty good. Live music starts around 6 on Fridays.
This may actually be the only thing open after 9pm in all of Volcano…

A great place for a nice cocktail before or after dinner! VERY reasonable prices and excellent service. Jen makes a PERFECT Lemon Drop (she works Tues and Sat). Very nice indeed.
