I’ve been in there a few times and it is so good !! I’ve only had the sandwiches the bread is nice and soft fresh lettuce and tomatos, they also have self serve pickles and finely chopped yellow peppers that give your sandwich a tangy kick (:
Best place to get a satisfying not to heavy meal in the area!
Oh and it’s a mom and pop shop even better !!
Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed

Yogurt Giant — a great deli shop owned and run by great people. Fresh produce and quality meats on a fresh deli roll makes for a great deli shop in North County. Although they were closed and going out of town for the Labor Day weekend, Barb and John were in before 5 o’clock a.m. to prepare 18 sandwiches for my family gathering later that day. I offered to pick up the sandwiches on Friday, but Barb did not want my guests eating a sandwich made the previous day. Their first consideration was for my guests, not themselves. That makes for great people. Barb and John are a class act. Do yourself a favor, try Yogurt Giant, and you to will be hooked.

Great food… Awesome people!!! Right next to Popeyes. I didn’t know what I wanted for lunch, and I only have Popeyes close to the house I told myself to try the yogurt & deli place next door to Popeyes… I walked in with no idea what to get. They have a simple menu, and great specials up on the walls. I chose the Friday special and as a military member she said it was on the house. Not sure that that will fly with any uniform that walks in. But that had to be the best service I’ve gotten in a long time. Love it there. I’ll be going back with my kids for yogurt or ice cream for sure. You should try it!!!

Honestly one of my favorite secret spots ever. I always get the turkey avocado here & they have nothing but the freshest ingredients. Its a family owned business as well so it feels good to support your local businesses. I highly recommend this location to anyone passing by this area!

Sandwich (ham/​pepperoni/​salami) was awesome if a little greasy. That could have been from toasting it though. Served cold it wouldn’t be a problem. The ice cream is also very good, and the service is very friendly! I wish I could give a 4.5. I’ll be back with an eye to making the review a 5 star.

My husband and I would starve without Yogurt Giant’s delicious lunches. We both work very close by and eat there almost every day. The sandwiches are made with very fresh ingredients and the soups are home-​made and delicious. My favorite extra is the homemade macaroni salad. It’s really good. This place has been around for a very long time so the owners know exactly how to make you feel like family while providing a good value of high-​quality food.

Best veggie sandwich on EARTH!
The owners are friendly and seem to really care about making their customers happy. The parking lot is filthy, and you might get ogled by street people and construction workers on the way from your car to the front door, but it is so incredibly worth it.
You can also call ahead and have your lunch order ready and waiting.

It’s the sandwiches, and the friendly owners, that keep me coming back. Their BLT, vegetarian, and Italian sandwiches are fantastic — in fact, I haven’t had a thing there that I didn’t like. There are creative touches like green olives in the veggie sandwich, and tuna in the the homemade macaroni salad. Definitely recommended.
