$ 60 for smog, without an appointment i was in and out within 15 minutes. they are «star certified» for the smog inspection. overall, quick and it was a fair price

What an experience. I have been coming to this location for years to get my vehicles Smog Checked. I was unaware that ownership had changed hands. The new Owners had my info in their system already. I was from the time I checked in to the time I left with Smog Cert. in hand was about 15 mins. They have to Smog Check Stations and are set up to head’em in and move’em out!
The front desk guy was very friendly and applied a $ 10.00 discount as a repeat customer.
It looks like they updated the waiting area a little bit. there was a table with lots of magazines on it… the lady that came in behind me commented the magazine was two years old… it didn’t stop her from reading it though.
There is also a glass door refrigerator behind the counter that you can purchase beverages with cash.
If you value your time… This place is definitely worth the trip.

This place is under new ownership by the people that used to work at the previous smog shop. The smog check didn’t take long, and the prices haven’t changed from the last owner. They still give the $ 10 discount for previous customers too.
The waiting area looks a lot different, no more magazines to look at while you wait, but they were usually old anyway. I think there used to be bookshelves in there too, but it’s just chairs in there. Depending on your phone carrier, you might have trouble trying to browse the internet from the inside. I was sitting next to the window and could hardly connect to anything. They also had a little fridge behind the receptionist, and you could buy a soda or something while you wait.
One thing that is missing from the previous place is the cool dog that was always there to keep the customers company.
