We LOVE Vista Kenpo Karate! With the exception of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) I have been out of the Arts for about 25 years. My family and I recently transferred to Camp Pendleton and immediately began looking for a Kenpo studio. My interest in Kenpo Karate comes from its reputation as a very practical Martial Art as far as self-​defense is concerned. Our son (13 at the time) was the first in our family to become a student, then his mother and I, and then our 8 year old granddaughter joined us. Professor Ron Jimenez, a 6th degree black belt is professional, patient, and an outstanding teacher. He and Vista Kenpo Karate are the real deal.

Mr. Jimenez is a great teacher! You can tell he’s passionate about martial arts and has a lot of knowledge. He’s super patient and great with kids, but I’ve seen him work with adults, too. He’s very well respected.
Totally recommend him for anyone looking for an extra-​curricular activity for kids or for adults looking for a new challenge!
