Overall not a bad place to live. I enjoyed my time there. Was cozy and peaceful. Never really had any issues with much. My biggest concern was the parking. I got out late from work and some days I would spend up to an hour waiting for someone to leave their parking spot. We only had one assigned parking to a 3 bedroom so it made it very tough. The apartment itself was very large inside. Not the nicest but the size made up for that. My first apartment and I don’t feel that it was a bad choice.

I lived here for about 2 years and my parents stayed for around 5 years. It’s a very nice quiet community. The office staff is very nice which is great because I am in the same business and know how some people can be. The apartments are not upgraded at all but they are nice and pretty big. Parking situation is kind of weird but it’s hard to find an apartment complex nowadays with a good parking program. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. I loved it and only moved out because of work. I would absolutely love to still live there if I could.

Now how often do you see a review, or even really think of reviewing a place like an apartment complex until some disaster happens? I drive by this complex every day, and while I have NOT lived here in over a year, I thought they deserved a review. My wife and I lived here for over 5 years and were really sad to leave. Like any apartment complex, especially of over several hundred units, you do get an eclectic mix of residents and personalities… But this is the best, BYFAR, in the area. I have lived at 3 – 4 other complexes in the area before we got married, and we looked at several others before arriving here. There always seemed to be at least one thing that made you nervous… Or annoyed. We went with Sycamore Hills because they are gates, which is more symbolic than much else during the day, but it does deter most low life’s form simply waling in and scoping out your goods… Not those goods! Close your windows then! Seriously though. We had the two bedroom unit and it was great room for us, and all our crap, and could have been perfect for 1 – 2 kids. They also have one bedroom units as well as 3 bedroom units I heard! The pool was always clean, and never super rowdy… And the«club house» was always open with a football or baseball game on during the respective seasons. Anyways, This was one of the quieter complexes I had ever lived at, and because it is lay’d out on a hill, you don’t get the feeling you area part of a huge collective of home sized cubicles. Only real downside is there are no in unit washers and dryers. There is a central laundry mat, which can get busy on the weekends. But, they do keep it open until 10pm or later, and it did allow us to do an entire weeks worth of laundry in under an hour!
