This Starbucks has one of the best customer service in Vista! The employees take being a barista very serious and want every visit be a great Starbucks experience for their customers. Thanks for serving the people of Downtown Vista! :)

Not only are the staff not bright, but neither are the customers that are in here! There are skaters all over the front patio entrance skating so you can’t get in(as a mom of a skater… I get them… don’t get me wrong) and customers cut in front of each other like it’s standard practice!!! When your order comes up, they don’t call out your name nor the order so all of us are trying to figure out whose is whose, and what they are, and even the workers don’t remember! So hopefully we all just guessed right and chose the correct coffees! Really?!?

The people are very nice and the wait isn’t usually very long inside. They always make my drink just fine. I get the Hibiscus Tea. My husbands coffee though, he’s never happy with it at this location. They add way too much cream no matter how little he asks for and way too much ice. We go this location for my drinks but not for his.

First time at this location and it’s nice a spacious. Lots of room for people to relax and enjoy their drinks. The wait was not long at all. I tried the new Toasted Graham latte and it was perfect. I’d definitely visit again

I hate to do this but I have to 1-star this location. I am addicted to Starbucks and go probably 5 – 6 times a week. Spending almost $ 30 a week here. Starbucks has a pretty standard delivery, and when you go to any location, the experience is usually the same. Not the case with this location, and it’s on numerous separate occasions. This location is generally slow; it takes long for the staff to ring up and write up drinks, and a long time for them to make it. I can put up with this. I can’t put up with my drink being made incorrectly and poorly. I order my drinks with some special requests but nothing outlandish(extra caramel, hold the whip). About 9 times out of 10, they mess up one or both parts of that order. I split half the time with correcting them or just walking off disappointed. It’s upsetting that they routinely make drinks incorrectly. This is the closest Starbucks to my home. I will literally drive to the next closest one every time. I’ll make it a point to get my drinks after I get off work or when I’m at my girlfriends house. I’ve checked into this location about 30 times(the distance was really a factor) but I’ve now decided that it’ll never be worth it again. 0 Stars.

There are few luxuries in this life that I repeatedly indulge upon, Starbucks crack is definitely one, even if I have to scrape together the $ 6, my late nights at work aren’t the same without my bucks. Imagine my dismay yesterday while i took a sip of my frosty(SINGLEVENTIMOCHAFRAPDOUBLEBLENDED W/O WHIP… that should stand out to whoever made the beverage around 2:30) as I was a few blocks away driving into work, when there was no mocha or any other sweetening agent to be found in my drink Props for remembering the espresso, though. I choked down half of the double blended ice and espresso watered down jet fuel before I had to toss it. Major disappointment, I’ll stick with the vista way location from now on. Sorry guys, I’m not one to write a negative review, but this was a real bummer for me, and you’ve got some stuff to work on. Peace.

This is really more of a 2.5 star rating for this location, but since they still make decent tasting drinks I rounded up to 3 stars. Nonetheless they earned it by the skin of their teeth. I really hate giving any Starbucks location a bad review(with the exception of my terrible experience at the Las Vegas spot), but time and time again the baristas here showed me that they deserve a poor review. This shop is the closest sb location to my boyfriend’s house in Vista so we used to be regulars for a few months, only Chris and this other friendly kid bothered to really memorize our drinks or even greet us when we come in. For the most part the baristas here are not very friendly or welcoming ATALL. They roll their eyes whenever you make changes to your drink and don’t even reply when I say ‘thank you’. Wow, I guess common courtesy isn’t so common anymore? Every time we come here my bf and I make an extra effort to be nice and smile, hoping that it’ll eventually get us on their«good side» or whatever but all of our efforts are in vain because the workers here seem like genuine downers. We come to this location for one reason only and that is because of mere proximity, again it is the closest location to us in Vista. They still make decent drinks here so they do deserve credit in that aspect, but again, do not expect great customer service here.

The baristas here are absolute #1. They remember your name. They know if you haven’t been visiting lately and express concern«We’ve missed you!». That’s pretty cool. The flavor of the drinks is always top-notch. Any specials going on with retail products? They’ll help you find ‘em and they’ll take a moment out of the craziness of their workday to find the exact K-Cup flavor you are looking for. Always patient. No attitude. The ONLY reason I did not give five stars is because of the layout of the store, but that’s not the employee’s problem. This particular Starbucks is not«laptop/conversation» user-friendly in that there are not many tables due to the shape of the interior and, well, some of the patrons wait outside asking for coffee money and when you don’t have cash because you are using your Starbucks card or your Smartphone app, it doesn’t feel good to be hassled outside the store by our fellow humans who are homeless or unemployed but still need coffee. Thanks for always taking care of me, my local Starbucks. I love ya!
