The checklist we were given did NOT say to double-​bag everything nor were we given anywhere near enough bags to do so. When the fumigation crew arrived they refused to do the job unless I double-​bagged everything. As a result I had to throw out an enormous amount of food, frozen and fresh while the house was in the process of being tented. The rest I had to put in the shed in the backyard. Nelson never showed up nor did the person he was supposedly sending. To add insult to injury, valuable items which I unfortunately (due to overwhelming stress) left stored in the (locked) shed were stolen. I have made a police report and had the locks changed. Altogether a nightmare I hope never to repeat!

Now to make matters worse he charged us 75 $ for a report, This fee was going to be waved if he completed the work. We tried to have him do the work, but he never could pick up the phone or show up for his appointments. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME, POS.

Not only did the owner not show up for the appointment to do the inspection, but he did not answer my calls or texts when I tried to reach him around the time of the appointment, and he never bothered to call me back the next day. Even if something happened and there was an innocent miscommunication, you’d think he’d call the next day to apologize and reschedule. I left messages on his cell and office number as well as texted him. I am a real estate agent and had already had an inspection on a listing using a different company. SInce the home had once been under contract with CalTerm, I thought they might be able to beat the first bid. The home owner wasn’t surprised they didn’t show up — she told me she had stopped using them because they repeatedly no showed.

I would highly recommend Calterm. Nelson is awesome and spent the time explaining to me solutions to my pest issues. He even walked me through steps I could take on my own to save money and fix the problem for good. Honest & trustworthy above all. Calterm is now the only exterminator I will be using!
