I have been treated by Dr. Altshul several times now, when I needed to have root canals that were done by other practitioners «re-​done» after some number of years have passed. Every time that I have been seen by Dr. Altshul he has done a terrific job and solved the problem that I went to him with. Furthermore, his office team is very helpful and just plain nice, as is the doctor himself. Dr. Altshul’s prices are extremely fair and reasonable and he seems to always take whatever dental insurance I happen to have whenever I need to see him. In my book, he’s the best in North County!

Dr. Altshul and his staff are amazing. I’ve seen them a lot these last few months and each time was a great experience. Root canals are no fun BUT if you gotta get it done I recommend going there. Yvonne at the front desk is very helpful and Dr. Altshul knows what he’s doing is very honest and helpful. **Bonus you get to listen to some good tunes**

This root canal was actually wonderful. Painless. Dr. Altshaul expalined everything in detail so I wasn’t anxious at all. I love this man! I’d recommend him to anyone. 10 out of 10!

I needed my first root canal and found Dr. Altshul through Unilocal.He is a soft-​spoken man with an easy demeanor — turns out he’s a surfer. I am sure he has been practicing for many years and he puts you at ease very quickly. He was thorough in his discussions with me and everything happened as indicated. The treatment went without a hitch and I barely felt a thing. He warned me in advance that a root canal is a tedious procedure, but I actually fell asleep so it went quickly. I am recovering as I write this, but so far I am no longer numb and there is no pain. This may change, but regardless I was very impressed with this excellent endodontist. Thanks Dr. Altshul.

If your dentist says you need a root canal, Dr. Altshul is the Endodontist you need to see. He and his staff are wonderful! He made me feel very comfortable and the treatment went very well. I even received a follow up call the next day. I don’t get that from own physician.
