We were here for three nights with 11girls and 5 adults for a youth order convention and — as I understand it– there was a slight over booking issue which lead to our party being split up over three floors. But the front end staff recognized this as an issue for us and worked diligently to fix it, so by noon on our first full day there we had been moved all to the same floor. Tony, especially was incredibly helpful in this, but I have to say that even the housekeeping staff was friendly and outgoing. Was it a perfect stay? No, but the attentiveness to our needs and the overall friendliness on the entire staff more than made up for it.

This not want I would call a 3 star hotel stayed 6 days, the maids were very poor beds poorly made-up, no towels left, did not vacuum the room until I called down. I made the reservation through priceline so was locked in. Ordered cedar plank salmon was served plan grilled salmon the chef was surprised I could tell the difference between the two just laughed. Bad place to stay.

BEWARE for hidden charges. We stayed here for 2 nights and they gave us 2 complimentary buffet breakfast tickets. We had a guest join us for the buffet on the both days. The full buffet is $ 11.50 if you don’t have tickets. When we got the bill on the second day they charged over $ 3.00 in addition to the $ 11.50 for my guest for plain black coffee. When I asked the waitress Robin about this, she gave me attitude and said«well they messed up yesterday by not charging you». I said«ok we weren’t aware that plain coffee wasn’t part of the „full buffet“ as it was the day before». I asked her if she could please remove it. She immediately said«sorry, that’s impossible». She did not know a thing about customer service and mind you the buffet was basically empty. Her service from start to finish was as if she didn’t want to be there. Disappointed and this experience has made me not want to stay at this hotel ever again. It’s sad they lost a customer over a $ 3 cup of coffee. It was the principle.

$$ Not bad. As I walked in, it looked pretty nice compared to other inns(Quality, Super 8 etc), and clean too. The halls looked pretty clean, and the room looked nice. Parking is also easily accesible, and location is okay. Not the best updated TV and pool but it’s alright for a 3 star. 4⁄5

We booked a week in advance and showed up at 4:30 for the 3:00 pm check in. We were told the room was not ready and had to wait. We didn’t get into our room till 5:20… that’s almost 3 hrs. from the stated check in. Joseph, the front desk associate was extremely rude throughout the whole process, and when I called him out on it, his reply was«it’s because I’m frustrated about the situation and I’m just doing my job, alright!». Wow, I was expecting an apology and some empathy but this was clearly not in the capacity of his customer service skills. Room is nice and clean, and pool was well kept, which is why I gave 2 stars… BUT his attitude totally ruined the experience. The management seriously needs to reconsider who they have up front representing their hospitality, especially on a holiday weekend.

Reserved a king but they gave me a double Queen on the 4th floor directly across from the ice machine and vending machine. Room was clean. Check out my view.

It was ok. Good for the price. Room was old but clean. Parking lot was not clean, outside trash cans were few and far between so when we found one it was overflowing. Hallways were were dirty. When going to our room the impression was bad cups and straws on the floor in the hall the edges had particles that would go away with a good vacuum. Just not for us we won’t be back.

We enjoyed a one night stay here over Valentine’s weekend 2016. I made reservations well in advance, and check in was a breeze. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the local area, and was able to recommend some activities and restaurants,(although we did Unilocal some, too.) We had a King room, which has a(duh) King bed and a small sitting area with a couch and table, as well as the usual TV and bureau. There were two bed tables, which we liked. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which we really appreciated, but the fridge made a loud humming sound at first. We solved that by placing a towel under the microwave, and after that it was quiet. The blackout curtains were very effective, which facilitated late sleeping, which we also appreciated! Bathroom was clean, although as is usual at many hotels, water pressure was disappointing. I ate Sunday breakfast at the buffet in the restaurant in the lobby, and it was pretty standard stuff: bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pastries & fruits, oatmeal, as well as coffee. Since we had signed up for the hotel’s loyalty program, it was free, so no complaints. I like buffet food, so fine by me. If we are ever back in Visalia overnight, I would certainly stay here again.

This is the second time we stay here. Very impressed with how nice and promp the staff is here. The people infront of us were being so demanding and just one of those couples that are never happy. The young lady was so polite to them and even apologized about the wait. The rooms are extremly clean, they have an indoor pool that looks so well maintained. Last stay we had room service, food was good and service was fast. Over all this is out go to place when my husband and I want to relax.

Have stayed at this hotel many times(as the holiday inn as well), mainly because it often is one of the cheapest options on Hotwire! Staff is friendly, not a bad place to stay. Feels a bit outdated, but beds are comfy and everything works. I know they are currently doing renovations since the Wyndham just took over this location, so I’m sure it will be updated within a matter of time. I do dislike that the rooms do not come equipped with mini fridges and microwaves– it’s hard to save leftovers or chill a beer when I’m in town staying here! Hopefully this will be one of the changes new management makes!
