Sahara Hookah Lounge

I have been to two Hookah places in Fresno and loved both. I just came here to the Sahara Hookah Lounge in Visalia, I was greeted and sat right away, the place smelled so wonderful with essence of pine, cedar, sandalwood. I ordered the Double Apple flavored tobacco and it was wonderful and tasty. I was served some apples, watermelon, and Strawberry. The place had great music and the best service. Would recommend to friends and family members.

I’ve been going to this hookah bar regularly for about a year and a half. They are amazing! No other hookah bar compares. If you aren’t sure on what to get, ask and they’ll give you great advice that will suit your taste. If you’re not satisfied in the first 5 minutes you can switch to a different flavor no extra charge. They have the best customer service and really care about your experience!

Best hookah bar around. Been to others around here and Fresno and this one is the best. Nice clean and friendly. Prices are reasonable and place has a good vibe. Great add ons and they are open till 3:30 on weekends. Perfect place to come after a night of drinking to just chill and relax and finish the night. Definitely the place to come to if you are ever in Visalia.

Best hookah lounge ever, a customer for about a year now and can’t complain at all! Best customer service ever, Jamal, the owner is great, his brother Ahmad and Kristin always provide the best service ever! I come to smoke at least twice a week and leave satisfied with my hookah session. I would recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t smoked hookah and those who do, definitely best in the valley! The atmosphere, the service and people are overall amazing! I love this place! ⁵⁄₅ for sure!

This lounge is absolutely fantastic. Jamal Ahmed and his crew of fellow hookah enthusiasts have created one of the most première hookah lounges in the Central Valley. The atmosphere is truly traditional but at the same time modern. This lounge is truly second to none. If you have never tried lemoncello I highly recommend it. I have never been disappointed with any hookah I have received. I will recommend this lounge to any smoker. I frequent the lounge at least two times a week and it is always a good time!!!

Highly recommend this place! Wonderful aesthetic, incredible owner, amazing service, and the hookah and tea — perfect. If you’re in the area, go! If they had one in Denver, I would be a regular.

Absolutely love this place. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is very sophisticated, the hookah bars that I am used to have a much more grungy sort of atmosphere, which isn’t bad but this place certainly ups the anti. The owner introduced himself the first time we went and was very welcoming. The large screen TVs are nice and the furniture is very very comfortable. We ordered a minty flavor and an apple bowel which while yes it was a bit of a pricy add on at 5 $, but was defiantly worth it as the shiaha did NOT get harsh at all. Very wonderful experience over all, will defiantly be returning!

This place is beyond awesome! Seriously, its that good. Very chill atmosphere and much nicer than most hookah lounges. Great service (professional and cool personalities), great flavors, reasonable prices, and a really great time! Highly recommend.

The quality of the hookah and all of its add ons such as ice, fruit heads, and water flavors is nice. The owner personally took care of my brother and I and was very attentive. Definitely would recommend coming here for a chill time!

This place had a great atmosphere. The service was nonstop. It does give u a better buzz when you drink. I’m not a smoker so this place wasn’t for me. It was very pricey. $ 20 for an orange flavored tobacco plus tip. I’m not a cheap person by any means but next time I’ll buy a cigarette and eat an orange!

On the last night of our short stay in Visalia, my fiancée and I decided to try out a hookah lounge after dinner. We could only find two hookah lounges through Unilocal,and to be honest, this was our second choice since the other one was walking distance from the restaurant we ate at. However, that one was closed, so we made the quick drive to Sahara.
When we first arrived, we waited at the queue for someone to seat us. The young man working there greeted us quickly and gave us a choice of where to sit. He also gave us an adequate amount of time to choose what we wanted. The three shisha brands available were Star Buzz, Fumari, and Al Fakher; we chose Fumari’s lemon mint.
It took a while for our hookah to come out, but we didn’t mind, because there was only one person working at that time. When we got it, we were very pleased with how smooth our hits were. In the middle of our session, my fiancée ordered an Arabian coffee while I ordered their lemonade mint blended. Man! I wish I had ordered it sooner, because it was so good and refreshing, and it complimented the lemon mint really well!
The ambiance was great. It had a but of a sultry feel with the décor inside, yet was a bit club-​like with the lights and music. They also had TVs set up around the place.
We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come again if we’re ever back in the area.

Best hookah in Visalia. Everyone at sahara hookah lounge will make sure your hookah and experience is fantastic. Wide variety of tobaccos, fruit tops, and juice bases.
Also great Dj in the mix on weekends!
I recommend this place to anyone who is trying to have an unforgettable good time.

Came in from out of town and was delighted to find this place!
Sophisticated, great design and perfect for a place to relax or chat with friends.
The owner was the perfect host. He made sure we had everything we needed and even offered various flavor options.
I’m from la where hookah lounges are a dime a dozen, overcrowded, and uncomfortable so this was a nice change!
We came on a weekday night so it was relaxing but i bet the place is bumpin on the weekends.
5 stars for service, décor, and atmosphere.
