Rod’s seems to have gone downhill a bit. If you are really in the mood for a hot dog, it will suffice. It’s definitely overpriced for what you get food wise, $ 2 for a plain hot dog on a semi-​stale bun. I had the chili-​cheese dog, and the chili was a bit on the cold side and the cheese wasn’t melted at all. It is in a fairly convenient location, just outside of Home Depot, and they have some outdoor seating. However the tables were dirty, so I opted to eat in my car. They do have a unique menu, but I just wanted a simple chili dog. I’ll give them another shot down the road, but I know that Sonic is just down the street if I come away disappointed again.

Had a quick lunch here today after having to make a stop at the Home Depot. The hot dog was a good sized dog served on a soft bun and was very tasty. They have many dogs to chose from or you can customize to your liking. The clam chowder was worth the $ 4, it was creamy and packed with flavor. Will be stoping by this place again!
