10÷14÷15 Los Toriles was always are go-to place for great food, with the added bonus of an establishment that opens early! They have changed owners several times since we began visiting Los Toriles many years ago, and the quality of food seems to have suffered. The salsa bar was great, with lots of options, including nicely roasted whole jalapenos. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, Caldo de Res. While the broth was decent, the serving size at $ 8.50 was on the small size. One piece of zucchcini, one piece of carrot, one piece of chayote squash, a tiny bit of potato, a piece of corn, and, I think, a small shred of cabbage. Two pieces of meat. My husband requested a side of whole beans with his tacos and got instead a small bowl of soupy refried beans that were more like a runny bean dip. Not likely to return.

3 visits, different items, AWESOME each time. Today I ordered green sauce chiliquilles with chicken instead of egg. Amazing! the best chiliquilles EVER! Always friendly and fast service. This is definately my GOTO mexican place in Visalia. Have referred co-workers and they all enjoy their food!

I hate to give bad reviews, but I have to warn against bad places, especially when there are other good options for Mexican food right across the street.(El grullio, la casita, etc.) This place was disappointing. I ordered 3 tacos, 2 Asada, 1 chicken. The Asada tasted old, fatty and had very little flavor. The chicken was terrible, rubbery. I had to flood it in salsa, lemon and salt to make them edible. The highlight was the free chips and ok salsa bar. For having tons of ghetto handmade signs, and aguas frescas this place looked authentic Mexican and promising unfortunately it didn’t deliver. Weak sauce. I’d even rather eat at Taco Bell.

Although this place has been through some rough patches(it’s had several different owners in the last few years) the food has always tasted good. My favorite item is the Papas Locas(asada fries). Try them, they’re great!

Great asada tacos. Asada torta was ok. Quesadilla was unremarkable. All condiments are available at a side table so you can grab the items you want — they even give you the mini zip bags to out them in!

This restaurant is horrible!!! I ordered a posole and there was no meat all pigs feet. Asked for them to please remove the pigs foot and add meat she said no unless I pay more money. My niece ordered the nachos and the chicken was rubbery hardly any beans. The cheese in my sons burrito was watery. One of the waitresses stated that she couldn’t give me more meat as the posole came that way since it’s pre packaged made it sound like it was canned. Never coming back here ever worst restaurant ever the cashier raised her voice at me while showing her my bowl of posole. When I told her there was no meat she pointed at a piece of bone and asked well what is that. Stay away from this place. If I could give negative 10 stars I would STAYAWAYSAVEYOURMONEY!!!

This review is solely based on the steak breakfast burrito. I haven’t tried anything else, so my review may be biased. Those who are familiar with the Visalia area know that there are quite a few good Mexican restaurants. However, with all of these options, where do you go to get a breakfast burrito? Very few places in Visalia have breakfast burrito. Glad I found this place! Excellent burrito and great salsa. Went on a Sunday morning around 9am and the place was packed. Obviously they make other great breakfast items. Can’t wait to try other items from them.

This is the best place for authentic mexican food in visa. I get the lengua it is so bomb. prices are cheap and they usually have a lunch special. it looks kinda ghetto but the food is so good. I went to henry salazars on main once because everyone said it was good but it sucked. i dont want lettuce and tomato on some white verison of mexican food I want the real deal

I love their breakfast burritos… especially chile verde and egg! OMG:))) They recently started offering breakfast burritos«hot and ready» so I guess the craze has caught on! The only reason I can’t give out 5 stars is because I have yet to try anything else… maybe tonight. I’ll update as needed:)

the reason i loved this place was they have delicious bacon wrapped shrimp for only $ 10, took off 1 star b/c the last time i went they were out, so i ordered tacos al pastor instead, which were kinda greasy… i guess the shrimp w/bacon are a special and not regular menu item! =(
