Clay Cafe

Had a great time here tonight. My wife and I came in to take a down day from hiking through the nearby national parks; it was a great choice. We got to relax, be creative, and have laid back conversation with Adina, the owner, and her husband. They’re even willing to ship our pieces to us since we’re heading back home tomorrow. Thank you Adina and David, we had a great time.

Adina was extremely nice and helpful. She told us about their party package that I’m definitely going to take advantage of for my neice’s birthday.

A testament to the quality, my daughter made a plate years ago that she uses on a constant basis and it has kept it’s glaze. I look forward to my next visit, perfect for a fun mommy and me date!

Wish there were a zero. We took the painting class for TODDLERS, Frozen theme. I’m sure you will have a hard time believing me. but here goes. First thing, the owner, (I believe), only deemed out the colors she wanted painted on the small figurine, and reprimanded for painting on other areas outside of where she instructed, that was odd, but we could live with that. She then read a story and would stop if anyone moved or talked at all, pointing them out publicly, (ie, «we’ll wait for that Mom to stop looking at her phone»). The horrific icing on the cake was during the story a hispanic mothers’ maybe 2 year old child was fidgeting, she stopped the story again and said, «someone’s little beaner is wandering around»…my mouth dropped. She explained that for anyone bothered by this remark it was, «not racist, I’ve known her forever». I’m not even going back to pick it up after the other reviews about that part of the process.

This is a cute place every fun :) the ladies were very helpful. We had an amazing time!

The place has a really cool esthetic, but the service is absolutely horrible. The ladies working there act like you know exactly what you’re doing and if they do explain something to you it’s very bossy and snappy, I will never come back, ever again. I can go pay to paint clay somewhere where they are helpful and not sitting around eating the whole time like they seemed to be doing when I came there to paint and when I came back to pick up my items. So rude and unprofessional.

So the idea of it is really nice. It brings out the artistic side in you and has really nice stuff for you to paint to choose from. However the people there were a bit rude and didn’t really assist us as much as we needed. Also when we came back to pick up our items, and they weren’t very helpful at all.
