I love this place. I have to stop myself from coming here each morning when I get off work (I’m a 3^rd shifter). The powdered sugar bavarian filled tastes like you are biting into a cloud! Salivating as I write this…

Came on here to post «best donuts in the world» but someone already has! My fishing buddies and I have to get them every morning when we are in the area. The glazed croissants are especially amazing, and I had an apple fritter with filling and chocolate icing once that I am still thinking about.

Saw a huge BAKERY sign on the side of the road and dropped anchor for a morning donut.
This is a bakery, not a café, so it is designed for carry out business. That said, they had a pot of coffee on, a picnic table for me to sit at, and plenty of napkins to smear the frosting deeper into my beard.
A solid stop if you’re passing thru the area and are hit with a craving for something sweet. I spoke to an elderly woman who had just hiked thru town to see if she could do it, and was excited to come back on friday for another round of donuts!
Note: they have much more than donuts, and were busy taking sheet cake and other orders while I was there. Next time I will try what looked like an attempt at cannoli, which is aggressive for the midwest.
