Wawa Food Market

Who the hell can understand this dissertation for an explanation??? A great way to anger someone already upset!:
«I received your correspondence from your visit to my location and wanted to take a moment to reach out to you. I do apologize for the issue that you had so I would like to take a moment to explain why what we did was necessary. Taking any sort of drinkware, containers, etc from outside of a regulated public eating area could be considered a health code violation. That is certainly not personal concerning your belongings but in the eyes of the health department it would be seen as an item that was out of our control thus we could not verify it with regard to sanitation etc. Again this isn’t about you or your belongings personally just our own need to stick to regulations and guidelines about what does and does not belong behind the counter. We as wawa employees do not even bring personal packaging items into the deli area. The larger issue to me however is that this wasn’t explained to you at the time that it happened. I sincerely apologize for that and will certainly be following up with the gentleman that was involved. He should have taken the time to explain why his actions were what they were. Please if there is anything else I can do for you or if you would like to speak to me (your email said not to call) please feel free to reach out to me.»

I stopped in with two friends in the early afternoon on a Saturday to get some sandwiches for lunch. Their hot line wasn’t working so no meatball or chicken parm, but they assured us that everything else was stocked. So I placed an order for a chicken salad sandwich, but was then informed that they were out of that too. So we decided to grab something off of the center refrigerated area, but two of the four sides were totally empty as in not ever a water bottle or apple slices.
The worst.

Great food, especially Turkey Bowl! Nice assortment of fresh things to eat. Lotto machine, ATM, Good beer assortment. Coffee always fresh. Great gas prices.
Too many handicap parking spaces, two should be adequate. Hate having to park on side of bldg, homeless folks mill about frequently, sometimes sitting on sidewalk asking for «spare change», have seen them then go in and buy beer & cigarettes.
Easy access in and out onto VB Blvd.
They need to pay more attention to long lines, usually just one of 4 registers open until 12 people almost wrap around the whole counter.

This place beats out all the other gas station/​convenience store combos. They have a very modern fresh look and assortment of foods. I foul not believe the number of good-​healthy-​fresh food choices for on the go. Their easy ordering menu is fantastic.
Oh, and the gas prices are usually very fair and low.
Will keep coming here!

If you put this address in GPS or use the maps app to go here there is no WAWA! Go further down the road a mile or so on the right!

A gas station mini mart where they serve hot sandwiches, have low gas prices and the employees are friendly. WOW, the stores are always clean, have great customer service and the food is not bad (actually like it better than subway or zeros).

Who does not like a Wawa? Ice coffee is great. Wish we had one in Fairfax, Virginia.

This is what a 7 – 11 should aspire to be. Hot and cold food items. Sammiches, made to order (damned Hoagiefest liked to have killed me this year). Hell. This is what McDonald’s should aspire to be.
Only negative observation I have about Wawa, in general, is that they do so much business — the foot traffic in their stores borders on chaos — is that the stores (floors, counters and bathrooms) do not benefit from timely cleanings. Always kinda beat up here, due to the sheer volume of people in the store at any given time.
Despite the crowd that is always here, and the traffic, those sammich’s make everything worthwhile.

Wawa has great service and low gas prices. I went here four days in a row back in May. It is always popular and the staff is friendly and efficient. I am hooked on the mocha mint iced coffee. It is a good thing I live in South Carolina or they would keep running low on it.
