I was sitting out at the café right next door (which i found with Unilocal) and heard the workers of this place talking (i assume one was the owner). The people seemed so nice and genuine that they are getting this review just for being extra nice. (Btw, i havent done this type of review ever before, so this is certainly an exception).

Super friendly owner! I wish this store great success I wished I lived locally to support this store, but I wish him well in all of his ventures. This store gave VA a great impression of the locals. Get your gear here and support the locals!

Virginia Beach, VA
This is one of the best surf shops in Virginia beach. The customer service is the best in the business and they have a bunch of cool stuff. I have purchased a few pairs of sunglasses from here and their price was way better than any of the other shops in the area.
If you have been to any of the big name surf shops in the area you would probably agree when I say the the employees are not the friendliest and they all tend to have an attitude. The owner of wave works is the man and is very helpful, he always has some sort of sale going on and you can get some cool gear at a good price.

Awesome place! The shop owner is super laid back and is a great person. We rented some used boards for a couple days and the owner threw some brand new leashes on for us, gave us free wax and was really accomodating… they had a great buy one/​get one sale going on and all the stuff is of quality. Highly recommended and we will go back even just to say hello on our next trip to VA beach.
