Walker Florist

Walker gave me a good price and delivered on time (despite the order being last minute). When the recipient wasn’t home, they called me to see whether I wanted to leave it on the porch or with a neighbor.
The arrangement itself was large and well-​done, but not exactly what I’d hoped. I was going for more blue and it ended up more purple. And it was more spread out instead of a tight arrangement. But these preferences are tough to describe on the phone. My only complaint is that the woman who took my order was a bit gruff and with English as her second language, it made communicating my intentions more difficult.
Overall, I am pleased and would use them again.

I woke up this morning with six still very hot red bumps on both of my arms from being bitten by the mosquitoes that was flying around this shop when I swung by yesterday. I came here first thing in the morning due to all the positive reviews. When I got there, it look outdated. There were no roses in the front so I asked to see them. I ended up getting six red roses with baby breaths wrapped in tissue papers.
I didn’t think that when she said that it would be wrapped in tissue paper, she literally meant that it would just be that. My hand around the stems would have been the only thing keeping it together hadn’t I asked for a ribbon. I was frustrated that I had to ask and I was frustrated that there was dirt and a gunk of glue on the tissue paper.
I was bringing this bouquet to my Dad’s grave site. I wanted it to look presentable and beautiful. Instead, I was disappointed and will not be coming back here again.

I’ve been using florists all over Virginia Beach and Norfolk for 15 years. I always utilize their websites and I always have them delivered. I’ve had to use about a dozen different florists over the years, due to inconsistent quality and decline in professionalism. I’ve finally landed on a florist in the 757 area code that I’ll continue to use until they retire! Today is my mom’s birthday and I live in Nevada, so I found Walker Flowers on google and Unilocal.I called and spoke to a very helpful woman on the phone who listened to what I was in the market for. She asked my budget and gave me several great options. She then offered to text me a picture of the final product before it left for scheduled delivery the next day. Sure enough, when I woke up the next morning, there was a text from her husband with a picture of the most beautiful, full, stunning arrangement I’ve possibly EVER seen. I’ve attached the photo. I was very grateful and was looking to surprise my mother with the delivery. I found out she was only going to be home in a small time frame-​window so I texted the owner my situation. Hours later, I find out he drove all the way, himself, to personally deliver the gorgeous arrangement to my very surprised mother. My mom knows flowers. Her thumb is bright green and she was blown away by the value and variety of this large, unique arrangement. There was no crazy delivery fee or extra weird fees at all in fact. I told them my budget number, and that is the EXACT number I was charged the next day, to the penny. Walker Florist is my florist of choice from now on!

The best! After some searching online for Virginia Beach florists, this place had the most number of reviews and highest rated reviews I could find. I went because I needed a bouquet for my friends mother and I wanted something special (not from the grocery store or leaving it to the internet). I met with the couple that owned the store, discussed the type of flowers I’d like, the look I was going for and a price range and then just left it up to them. When I came back the following week to pick up the flowers, I was so impressed! It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They really have a fantastic eye for detail and take care of every placement of each flower. Additionally, because they knew I had to drive it some distance to its final destination, they had packed it safely in a box and even showed me how to transport it the best way in my car. That was the icing on the cake. I definitely recommend them to anyone who loves flowers and can appreciate a beautifully arranged bouquet!

Absolutely beautiful! My fiancé sent me flowers for Valentine’s Day that were absolutely stunning. Honestly the most beautiful roses I’ve ever gotten. The service was excellent and very fast. We will continue to use them for years to come :)

Amazing! I ordered flowers for my sister. I live in California… So when I called they were so friendly and took my order. The flowers were delivered to my sister 3 hours later and she sent me a photo of the flower arrangement. It looked better than the picture online! I’ll definitely be doing business with them again!

I ordered a bridal bouquet, a corsage, rose petals and two floor arrangements in white for my beach wedding. Not only did the lady at Walker Florist provide fresh and beautiful flowers, the whole package cost me only $ 300. I let her pick the styles and was very happy with the arrangements. The bridal bouquet was alive long time after the wedding was over.
