I had an emergency and they took me in and I must say I get very nervous when it comes to having dental work done. Dr. Snyder is so gentle and knows how to keep you calm. I have found my dentist. Yay! I will now complete all the dental work that needs to be done. Thank you all for a great visit.

Dr. Oliver has been my dentist since I was in 6^th grade and he was in a teeny, tiny office in a little shopping center with a Food Lion. He must have been fresh out of dental school because at that time he was super young. I’ve left the area and have come back but I was impressed but not surprised to find out he has his own practice! It’s in a beautiful location right off North Landing over by the post office and VB Courthouses. His practice actually shares a building with seafood restaurant, The Landing. I love the building and the wooden deck that looks like a porch that you walk in to get inside. They have white rocking chairs on it too, kind of like Cracker Barrel. The building also reminds me of a house, and actually, when you walk in, it kind of has that homely vibe to it like you stepped into someone’s home. It’s nicely decorated and makes your feel cozy. I wouldn’t say it’s brightly lit but the dim lights give you a warm feeling. The receptionists and hygienists are all so sweet and cheerful. I haven’t met a single one that I didn’t like. Dr. Oliver must hand picks them out himself. When you go back to the actual dental area, you’ll notice right away the brightness of it. It’s bright, it’s noisy with patients and tools and chit chatter but I like it. One thing I remembered about seeing him as a young kid was that he was the first dentist I knew who installed TVs in the ceiling. I thought that was so cool! And after 20+ years, he still does the same at this practice! It’s a great feeling to be able to now bring my own son to be seen and be taken cared of by Dr Oliver and team. And at 13 years old, he’s still able (and very much happy to!) to choose a treat/​toy/​goodie from the treasure chest!
When scheduling appts, it’s very easy to do so online or over the phone. They also send you friendly reminders via text and email, whichever you prefer.

THE BEST DENTIST OFFICE IN HAMPTON ROAD! !!!My family and i have been coming here over 9 years and referred many people. Dr. Tracy Oliver is THE BEST EVER!!! …ONLY BAD THING ~ they don’t accept Anthem commercial insurance. …therefore 100.00 out of pocket for a cleaning. per person .OUCH. .I really need this office to become Par provider with Anthem. I really hate/DON’T want to looking for a new dentist… Dr Oliver is #1!!!

I have been going to Dr. Oliver for many years now. I love his office and All the staff. There are 2 things that are highly important which can make or break your peace of mind and pocketbook — a mechanic when your car is sick & a dentist when your mouth is «jacked up.» Dr. Oliver is friendly, personable, & knowledgeable; the total package. He has never steered me wrong and in fact saved me money when I thought I needed work done. Greatness starts from the top and this is the Right Choice.

I have had the absolute worst luck with dentists in the past. In San Diego, a simple cleaning felt like the dude was ripping my teeth out one by one. In Oxnard, CA, the dentist removing my wisdom teeth gave me so much anesthesia I lost my memory for 3 days (no joke). And in Norfolk, a dentist botched a root canal (which I didn’t know at the time) that turned into a cyst that ate a hole in my skull. So of course I was nervous about trying a new dentist.
I’ll say this, if you are in Hampton Roads or the Outer Banks, and you are scared to go to the dentist, call the Princess Anne Center for Dental Arts and see Dr. Oliver! I will never, and I mean NEVER go to another dentist unless this man retires! Over the past 5 years, I actually look forward to my visits for cleanings and other work.
If your dentist convinces you that pain is normal on every visit, or they think they’re stuff don’t stink, call this place and tell them about it. Then sit back, and let them show you how a real dental visit should be. You will be back!
EDIT: As good as Dr. Tracy Oliver is, so is their new dentist, Dr. Casey Snyder! This beautiful young woman is on an equal playing field as Dr. Oliver. How many doctors do you know call you to follow up on how you are doing? I’m not talking about their assistants, I’m talking about the doctor PERSONALLY? This is how Dr. Snyder operates. She is WONDERFUL!
I’m telling y’all, go and see these folks. I’m not playing with you! It’s that serious!!!

The best Dentist in town. He has seen 2 of my children grow up and now is treating my youngest child. Truly the best. I have never felt a pain here, they will go above and beyond to make you comfortable ! I could not express my gratitude for all those years of sensitive and compassionet service!
