The Sunkissed Bakery

Hands down the «Hummingbird Cake». Elizabeth delivered this cake to my business after hours gathering and it was the only thing people could talk about. The cake was destroyed. No one cared to mention the restaurant’s food. She’s is the best and I refuse to go elsewhere for my event cakes. Need a delicious cake with FRESH ingredients? Done.

After seeing The Sunkissed Bakery on Groupon I decided to give it a try! I purchased the Groupon (a dozen mini cupcakes for $ 6, regular price $ 12) and consulted the website to decide what flavor to order. The website was adorable! So simple and elegant with an extensive menu! I chose to order the Elvis, a banana cake topped with peanut butter buttercream and topped again with vanilla bean marshmallow buttercream and garnished with a piece of bacon! Yum! I placed the order on the phone and asked if they could be delivered in two days. Two days later they arrived in a pretty turquoise box, a nice touch compared to the areas other cupcake shops mundane white and brown boxes.
The cupcake was delicious! A moist banana cake topped with a perfect layer of peanut butter buttercream, a taste reminiscent of Reese’s peanut butter, and topped again with fluffy vanilla bean marshmallow frosting, the perfect compliment to the saltiness of the crispy bacon touch!
Overall I would give the restaurant 5 stars! As a start-​up business, owners usually overlook minor details, but The Sunkissed Bakery was right on target!
