Dirty crap hole. I was hoping for a nice Irish bar. But its a bunch of dirtbag drunks who chain smoke. Hope u like cancer. You can’t breathe in there nasty. And there’s mold from a flood. Gross!!!

I’m here every Saturday morning for the all-​you-​can-​eat cooked to order breakfast for seven bucks. Usually a bunch of third shirt workers and retirees plus an assortment of working stiffs in here trying to knock the shakes off.
Come in occasionally for a plate lunch or sometime for the $ 12.00 steak dinner.
Make no mistake, this IS a dive bar and comes with all the associated baggage. If you don’t like smoking, you can always go in their Tim Kaine room, but be prepared for some solitude. You and your party will be the only people occupying it.

Very good juke box, too. Usually above average service, but if they don’t know you, expect to be called «Honey, Sweetie, Darlin’”or some other cutsie name…

This place is less than ideal. The whole bar is smokey. The non smokey side is falling apart and the food is really bad.

This is what I’m talking about– Cheap ass dive bar with lots of drunks by 5 in the afternoon. Hell Yeah!
I guess this place is such a hole in the wall that it’s listed as «closed» on Unilocal.It isn’t. It’s open and waiting for anyone who wants to kick back a couple PBR’s with old drunk dudes.
Tall cans of PBR are $ 1.50 til 7. Domestics and drafts aren’t any more expensive. Had 4 beers and a shot of Jäger and wound up with a $ 12 tab. Can’t beat that at all.
I have yet to try the food, but it looked good and cheap. They do a homemade meatloaf that apparently is really popular. And meatloaf is nothing but sexy.
While talking to one of the drunk regulars at the bar, he did say that some nights (usually the weekends) it can get a little out of hand but no one’s been shot yet. More bonus points!
BTW, this place is hardly Irish. What it is is good old fashioned bar heaven. Screw «clubs» and «nightlife» and «scenes». I’d much rather drink here.
