Live music on Sunday!!! Cheap drinks — Guinness is only 4.50 and well drinks are less than 4! Now a patron or don Julio is 10.50 (that’s a little absurd)
The burger is spectacular! Skip the guac — it’s not good and the potato salad is abysmal but the burger — fantastic.

Everything that my wife and I tried was amazing. The fried food was perfectly crispy on the outside and not dried out in the middle. The Shack Steak was a great steak and definitely a must try as were the crab cakes!

Visited once when a friend of mine said her friend’band is playing that night at the bar.
It was good experience. Packed with varied age group from 20s ~60s.
Great live music, dance floor, everybody seemed to have nice time.
Can’t tell about their food or drink since I only had non alcoholic bottled beer.

Not a bad divey/​country bar. They have live music every weekend, so that’s a plus. Definitely more for the 40+ crowd. I’ve gone up there a few times and had a decent enough time. Lunch food is pretty good too. Try the Dagwood!

It’s a cool dive bar off of Bird Neck Rd. The surrounding area can be a little sketch but I’m cool with checking this place out for a few brews. I popped in last Friday and they had a live band in the house (wish I remember their name because the band was awesome). People were having a good time. The bartenders were giving good service… hardly a wait for a drink. I think beers were only $ 2.50 a piece, too.
A few years ago I had their prime rib and remembered it tasting spectacular.
Definitely looking forward to going back when I’m in the mood to go a little crazy.

This is a neighborhood bar and most people are locals. It has a friendly atmosphere and good bands… a variety. The bar food is very good and sometimes I stop in to eat chicken wings.
The crowd here likes to dance and the people are generally outgoing. Its mostly a older crowd 40 and up but anyone could have fun here. The locals welcome others and try to extend hospitality to everyone.
Good staff of seasoned Bartenders who know how to make drinks.

Hello! New diamond in the rough! Yeah the crowd is older but I found the South Beach Grill, AKA the Wrinkle Room (jokes, jokes) to be awesome and I will return. The owner (regretfully her name I have forgotten) is so fun and inviting. She is proud of her bar and should be! The live music was great, there is ample room on the dance floor, the layout of the bar is unique, and they have an excellent variety to the menu. Power hour has $ 1 drinks to include wine and liquor. It seems to be non-​smoking because during the two hours I was there I only saw one person smoke and I think they were trying to be sneaky. The bathrooms are super clean. I am rambling now but I am racking my brain to try to find a reason to dock a star but I just can’t, it’s that good. Go there, embrace the older crowd, I bet they out-​dance you…

My friend’s band has played here a few times, and each time I go I feel like the young kid on the block. The food is good, the drinks are reasonably priced but the crowd is way over my age range and I feel out of place. When I am on the dance floor I feel fearful someone will slip a hip out of place. It isn’t the worst place I have been, but by far not the best. But don’t go in looking to meet anyone in their 20’s or 30’s…

I am in my mid 30’s and this place made me feel like I was 20 again! I say that because I was by far one of the youngest people in the place. It was packed, packed with old people. Everyone was having fun though. The beer was a little over priced for my liking but all in all, not a bad. A friends band was playing so we stayed all night. I will go back again if a band I like is playing but I would not go here to grab a beer.
** Just bumped this up to three stars. I went last night and had the nachos and lumpia. The lumpia said veggie lumpia and tasted like standard spring rolls. They were good though. The nachos, we added steak and they were pretty awesome. They hit the spot and with some New Castle, all was well.

South Beach Grill is your neighborhood bar that’s packed to the hilt just about every night of the week. I’d always passed by this place and wondered «what are they doing in there?» as I debated why there were so many cars parked outside of this little bar in a small shopping center at the corner of Birdneck Road and Norfolk Avenue.
The answer is that South Beach Grill has all your comforts of a neighborhood bar: foosball tables, pool tables, live bands every night, and a dance floor. Frequented mostly by your forty and up crowd, classic rock cover bands set the mood with this friendly crowd. But even for the younger crowd, this is a fun place with good music and lots of friendly people who like to drink.
