My husband always gets a bowl of phở every time we go to this mall. One day, I decided to try his broth out while he was eating and wowwwwww, it was tasty. I wish the noodle shop was at a mall closer to my house. ha! For a mall food court, this is a step above. I know that for out next mall outing, I’m going to the noodle shop. Definitely authentic!

Best Vietnamese hot and spicy soup(Bún bò Hué) in Hampton Roads, hands down. I’ve tried just about everywhere, and no one compares. I make a trip to Lynnhaven Mall a couple of times a month with my friend who is from Vietnam. She agrees. She says this is as close to her dad’s homemade soup as she has found. You’ve gotta try this place!

I agree with the previous reviews. The phở isn’t the best I’v ever had but it was a nice choice to have in a mall food court. The one thing that worried me was the small layer of oil I saw on top of the broth. Otherwise for $ 6.49, a bowl of phở isn’t bad at all for a cheap meal. They also have goi cuon(vietnamese spring rolls) which were okay too.

The Good: — Tasty — Unlimited add in extras like onion, cilantro, green onion, jalapeño, and sauce — Food court location The Bad: — Over priced — You are eating in a mall food court I go to the Noodle Shop in Lynn haven mall every time I venture into Virginia and try to convince anyone I know of heading South from Norfolk to bring me some Phở on the way back. What can i say, Noodle Shop is a far cry from what many consider real phở, but it is a refreshing option in the food court. Take advantage of the extras, and test your heat threshold by dipping a jalapeño in the house hot sauce ;)
