Yeah, I don’t really do McDonald’s, but as I stated in another review, when the ice cream bug hits you, you just gotta go with it. My experiences have been different each time I’ve been. I realize that their cones are only fifty cents, but one time this summer when I went through the drive-thru and ordered a cone, the young man at the window presented me witha measly ice cream cone with barely a dollop of ice cream on the top. Now once again, I know that it was only fifty cents but when you have to look closely to make sure there is actually ice cream in the cone, that’s a no-go. I looked at the guy thinking he was just joking with me. Our conversation as follows: Me: Are you serious? Him(looking at me like I’m crazy): What? Me: That’s the ice cream cone I ordered? Seriously? Him: Yes. Me: No. I don’t think so. Him: Seriously? Me: Yes, seriously. I am not paying for that. He proceeded to look at me like he was in shock. I expected him to at least offer to fix the problem. We stared at each other for a moment and I drove off, him without the money and me without the cone. Wawa here I come. The last few times I have gone I have gotten regular sized cones that I couldn’t complain about, but yes, seriously… when I order and ice cream cone, I’d at least like to have ice cream with that cone. Smh.

Hmm… I could’ve sworn I posted a review for this Mickey D’s before… Oh, well… I’m posting one now… Went to pick up lunch for my man and saw that the drive-thru queue was pretty long. I anticipated a long wait. To my surprise, I went through the line rather quickly. The two men manning the drive-thru windows were quick, efficient and courteous. The fries were hot & fresh(yay!!). Kudos to this Mickey D’s lunch crew for running a tight ship!

I really try to give establishments the benefit of the doubt, however this is absolutely the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. We order our sons food and told the cashier what we wanted on the item. Now one would think that the cashier was paying attention, after all we are paying for this not the cashier. Moving along… we waited far to long while watching employees talking to their friends coming into the restaurant. Finally, the cashier placed our food on the tray and we went and we found a seat. Upon opening our sons food it was immediately noticed that it had everything on it we said not to put on it. I took it back to the cashier and explained this is completely wrong our son cannot have this. The cashier looked and me and then unwrapped the wrap with her bare hands and said umm then called the manager whom also held it. Now mind you either one of them washed their hands. The manager gave the wrap back to the cashier whom handed it to me and I said you expect our son to eat this, you both handled it with your bare hands opening it up. Your hands have been everywhere on money, etc. They took the wrap back and I waited again the cashier handed me the wrap and I went back to sit down. Upon sitting down our son went to eat it and it was the same wrap just in New paper. I called the complaint line and received no answer and decided I’d email once we got home. Needless to say when the management called me I was lectured about sauces and told McDonald’s put this on wraps. Not once was it recognized that employees handled food with no paper basically handing me a wrap with their bare hands no paper on it is wrong(health code). It was not even addressed that the order was wrong plain and simple and we were giving the same wrap back. So unprofessional on all levels. We will not go back to this McDonald’s again it is the worst and most unprofessional McDonald’s I’ve truly ever seen. We certainly do not recommend at all going to this McDonald’s unless you are desperate for food and there’s a Food Lion close you’d be better to grab fresh fruit until you can get somewhere else to eat. I give this McDonald’s a F– this one star is even to much.

Terrible experience. I really don’t have high expectations for fast food restaurants, but this place truly does not care about the customers. Bagged my eat in food which wasn’t too big a deal, but I figure they bagged it so I wouldn’t see the raw fries they gave me. They weren’t very busy and had a very bad attitude with me.

This location no longer carries hot mustard. So if you care about dunking your nugs In hot mustard instead of that crappy jabenero ranch, I suggest you reverse your car from the drive through immediately. To my knowledge you will have better luck in Ohio. Have a great day.

McDonald’s with a drivethrough in the Fairfield shopping plaza in the northwest corner of Kempsville and Providence. I popped in for a quick cheeseburger and a bottle of water. As is the usual at McD’s, it’s prepared to order rather than sitting around so it’s going to be a short wait. Points off not only because the ice machine was broken but for the poorly worded sign«ICEMACHINEISOUT.» It’s not«out» — it’s right there. It should have read«oout of order». Whatever, it’s McDonald’s. Later in the afternoon, it just didn’t sit right with me. I really need to stop considering McDonald’s food once it’s not the Egg White Delight.
