Hometown Heating and Cooling

David showed up with one team member to troubleshoot our hvac within an hour and a half after I called. He found the problem and refilled our freon. He wasn’t pushy, didn’t try to sell me his maintenance contract, and he was very fairly priced. By the way, he only took 15 – 20 minutes. His quality of work and efficiency spoke for itself and made me a permanent customer!

I give them 5 stars for the first time i called. They came out when they said they would and answered all of my questions. They charged a reasonable rate to fill the ac unit with coolant and advised to monitor performance.
While they were here I saw they had a yearly service contract special for 99. This is where they failed.
I have been trying to reach them to schedule a cleaning and left a few voicemails with no response for a while now. All that i get is a voicemail response saying they are with a customer and will return the call as soon as possible.

When our air conditioner’s compressor shorted in the beginning of the summer, we had a very difficult time finding anyone who could make an emergency call for us and come out right away. We did have one company come out who told us to replace the entire HVAC system (eek!). David made it to our house within half an hour of reaching him and let us know we only needed to replace the outdoor unit. He was very knowledgable and explained the whole process to us. We were very confident in the work he was providing and pleased with the quote.
A few months later (the AC running almost non-​stop), we realized the air flow around the house was just too weak. He came by to try to help by cleaning out the valves and recommended we change our air filter. Again, he educated us on the system and what to look for. The next morning, when I noticed the same problem still occurring, he quickly scheduled us for a replacement.
He and his assistant always show up on time, if not early. They are quick and courteous… didn’t even mind our dogs going up to say hi to them! We mostly appreciate gaining a better understanding of the work being done and how we can maintain the quality.
Our review is accompanied by the fact that we will continue to use David’s services! It is hard to find trustworthy & knowledgable help with home maintenance… we are thankful to have found Hometown Heating & Cooling.
