Discovered Gilbert by on line search for watch repair VA Beach after high price quote from a noted jewelry store, including a bit of an attitude. Could not be more satisfied with Gilbert. Expert, friendly service and very reasonable price. Go here first with any watch problem. No need to go anywhere else.

This guy is tops! Gilbert’s semi-​retired and tries to balance work and golf, so his hours are sparse, but he will take care good care of you and really know his stuff. Just like the other reviewer, he charged me $ 10 for a same day battery replacement.
I had to wait weeks for the priviledge to pay a jewler in the mall $ 60 to replace the battery in the same Tissot. I only did that to keep the warranty intact. If you don’t have a warranty to worry about you shouldn’t think twice about going to Gilbert!

It’s tucked inside a pawn shop but don’t be fooled… very honest man. Went in to have my watch battery replaced. He quoted me $ 15 and was done in 5 min and charged me $ 10! Very honest and clean. I’ll be back! Go nowhere else but here!
