Does this place really exist? Every time I have tried to call to redeem my groupon voucher, there is no answer. No way to leave a message. This is bullshit. If groupon doesn’t do something soon, I’m cancelling the payment through my bank.

I got a groupon for a Brazilian wax. In this scenario you definitely get what you pay for. I would actually give this zero stars if possible. First the waxing room looked like a 3^rd world abortion clinic it was dirty and hospital-​esque. The woman that did my wax was pleasant but not very gentle. A few times I thought I would jump right off the table because of the pain. I actually had to ice my lady parts bc of the pain after the wax. Thankfully this wasn’t my first experience bc i would never do it again. I will not be a return customer.

From start to finish this was an awful experience! I asked for a reminder call when I made the appointment and received no call. Ok, not a big deal, but when I arrived at the spa I was surprised by the quality products for sale but then no one greeted me as I stood there for five minutes, as two employees stood nearby conversing. I was finally checked in as the women continued talking. Someone finally showed me to a seating area which was behind what looked to be an area set for a photo shoot.
Once taken back I was seated in a room that was far too small for the bikini wax I had scheduled. The room was very dated, the chair was dirty and ripped up from age, paper was pulled on top, and there was hair stuck to the side. The wax pot was not clean and the rest of the room was dirty, old, and had holes in the walls. As for the wax, they used strip wax instead of hard wax and it was FAR too hot and proceeded to burn me very bad!
After that terrible experience was over I had to remind the woman that I was also booked for a brow wax. She seemed annoyed and surprised so she moved me to another room and did a brow wax that makes a nail shop quick wax seem like a wax to the stars. It was quick and sloppy! I pointed out areas she missed and she fixed one thing; since I did not want to be rude I just decided to leave and fix it myself at home.
Please, for your safety do not go here.

HORRIBLE!!! I got a groupon for a Brazilian wax with Tonica, it was my first!!! She did an awful job, didn’t wax all the hair, so I have patches of hair everywhere! If I could I would post pictures… I highly do NOT recommend going to her. She was very nice but i don’t see how she has stayed in business!

Located across the street from 7-​Eleven and family laundry. The entrance is closer to Cardinal Road & Allendale Drive. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. My wax experience was a good one and I would recommend Tonnica to a friend. She was detailed in her work and no touch ups at home required.

I recently visited the salon and received a wonderful Brazilian wax from Tonnica! She is extremely friendly and thorough. I was a rookie and very anxious and she put me at ease and it was much less painful than I expected. I’d definitely recommend Tonnica & I’ll certainly become a regular.

So if you need brazalian and a skilled technician, this is the place to go. I’ve been getting waxed for close to 2 years. I moved here in May and haven’t been able to find a local place that knew what they were doing… until now. Tonnica knows hair and how to get rid of it. She uses a non tacky wax that doesn’t cause much discomfort. And having Groupon makes it even better!
