If you have a billing issue with Cox services, avoid this place at all costs. Almost all billing inquires and issues can be handled at(757)224−1111. If you need to talk to someone, they are very helpful. I’ve been a customer of Cox communications for 26 years and I’ve entered this store 3 times. My visit on Saturday, October 24, 2015 will be my last. Yes, Tammy greeted me at the door somewhat pleasantly, but the interaction went downhill FAST! She may have been sick with all the coughing and hacking she was doing at the counter. If that’s the case, she should have taken the day off.

I am very unhappy with cox services and their customer service. When I moved from my prior residence and into my new home their employee told me that my cable/Internet bill would drop by $ 10 a month if I got their bundle package that included telephone(which I do not use) and hbo. I added them in order to save money and now my bill jumped from just about $ 100 month to nearly $ 200. The employee lied to me, the service is terrible when I call back and none of the employees or management are ever willing to help resolve the situation. I barely use my Internet and I do not even have a home phone inside my house. I would strongly advise that if you have a different provider in your area that you go with them. On top of the issues I’ve had with this, upon turning my cable on at my prior residence the first time around I scheduled to have my cable turned on and they never came so I called again, then they told me they had no record even though I called prior to even moving in, I rescheduled, I waited about a week or week and a half and then the person they sent to turn it on didn’t bother to climb the pole and turn my cable on due to seeing a satellite from the prior renters of the property. No one informed me of this, so I called to find out what happened. Upon calling the scheduled for another gentleman to come out. When he came out he informed me of this, mind you he came out almost two weeks later. I waited almost a month because of cox’s ignorance for my cable/Internet to be turned on. They charged me to come out twice and I’ve had nothing but issues. I wouldn’t even give them one star if I had an option. I’ve stressed to them on numerous occasions that I am unhappy and my bill has just gradually been climbing. They have terrible customer service and services. I WOULDNEVERRECOMMENDTHEM, NEVER. If you don’t mind being lied to and ripped off then go with them but if you want to deal with a company who cares about their customers seek services elsewhere

So I went to exchange my TV remote tonight(button kept sticking) and Tammy came running to the door to open it for me and greeted me?! She was happy, friendly and what I would want in any business I walk into. She even upgraded my cable box for free. Keep this lady around Cox… talk about amazing customer service! Not the biggest fan of your cable, but if I need help I’ll come back to her!
