Nice folks at BLVD pizza. Signed up for their VIP texting club and got a free pizza. Who doesn’t like free? Then got a text from them yesterday for two 18inch pizzas yummy garlic knots and a two liter. We couldn’t eat it all. $ 28.99 thought that was very reasonable. I’ll be back! Oh btw texted BLVDPIZZA to 51660

I figured i would try one last time since they have new management. I just dont understand it. Where has customer service gone? Order a pizza they say 30 – 45 …1hr later i call to check… whos fault is it? Apparently mine. No sincerity. Just oh well we had other orders to deliver. Cold pizza after 1 hr 20 m8nuyes of sitting around. Why have a business? Why offer delivery if you cant deliver? Its an obvious issues based on other reviews I see. Why then be rude and not even offer an apology? Cant you see why your place of business is always dead? Does that not say anything? I just dont get why you wouldnt want to make more money by offering to provide the services that you promise ANDDOITWITH A SMILE. And then to have your friends write 4 and 5 star reviews and ensure they all write«under new management» common now… i give you guys MAYBE2 yrs… then out of business…

Since this place is under new management, I thought to pop in and see how things are going. The servers are so personable, and one of the managers, Carter is such a delight. He assisted me with my order, I had ordered the wings(of course) with the Carolina Reaper sauce. It was spicy but nothing I’m not used to. Add to that a margherita pizza. I noticed the turnaround times for pick up were definitely commendable. Most customers who walked in for pick up, quickly walked out with a fresh hot pizza. My only thing disappointment was the décor, which could be updated, but this place was just acquired so what’s to say that’s not next on the list to be refreshed? Give this place a try!

What a delicious pizza. This place definitely makes their own dough and uses very fresh ingredients. The pizza had a perfect balance of sauce to cheese and toppings. I always do carry out and my pizza was ready in 15 minutes! This is my new favorite neighborhood pizza place!

This place is under new ownership and it shows! Fresh paint, new kitchen stuff. And the food is miles above what it used to be.

Very very poor service. Ordered for delivery told 30 – 45 min. Called after 1 hr and toldbhes almost here. Called back at 125 min and told hes almost there. When I complained the manager said«oh well nit my problem. Too much traffic» i live 7 min away. Rude Rude… never go there again! By the way. IMFROM New York and YOUARENOTHING like NY pizza. Soft droopy thick is nothing like NY pizza so stop trying sooooo hard…

I ordered the Florentine White Pizza through Order Up, and it was AMAZING! I recently moved to the area and was anxious to find a good, local pizza place that delivers. This is it! I’m looking forward to trying other items from their menu.

I thought it was really good, for a local business. I wish the crust was a little bit more crunchier

Boulevard Pizza is a typical Virginia Beach Pizzeria that claims that they have Authentic New York Pizza, yet it is anything but. It’s typical Virginia Beach Pizza: An overly thick crust(more Chicago than New York) that is not firm and crispy like a true NY Pizza, but is doughy and soggy. The sauce and cheese is like the rest around here: Not particularly flavorful. There is simply no place in Virginia Beach that serves up the delicious pizza that I enjoyed growing up in Philadelphia. I could find you a hole-in-the-wall place in the worst neighborhood in Philly that is far better than any place here. Caesar salad was okay, but a bit skimpy on the dressing. Next!

I brought a dozen teens in for pizza on a Saturday afternoon and we had a great time! The pizzas and calzone were excellent. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome can’t stress how good this place is. You should really check it out as they have a great pie, incredible ravioli and a wonderful family oriented vibe.

A month or so back we were checking out garage sales and ended up over near this place. As we were browsing a sale, the family holding it was eating pizza that had been picked up from Boulevard Pizza. It looked great and they said it was good pie. So, I mentally bookmarked the joint. Fast forward to last week and we had dropped off our youngest son at a birthday party. We had a couple of hours to kill and since it was dinner time and we were in the neighborhood, we stopped in here. As we walked in, the restaurant just had a weird vibe. I can’t explain it but both my wife and son just kinda stopped and seemed unsure. Nothing bad just not an overly welcoming environment. Our server greeted us immediately and while nice, she didn’t seem to be all that experienced. She did fine, mind you, just a little rough around the proverbial service edges. We ordered a few things, including a sampler platter as an appetizer, a meat lover stromboli, a cheese steak sandwich, and a ham and cheese sub. The platter included mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, onion rings, chicken strips, and fried mushrooms. It was OK but it was all a bit«too done». They had fried everything too long, it seemed. Don’t get me wrong, we ate it all, it just wasn’t great. The cheese steak was fine but nothing to get excited about and same for the ham and cheese. The stromboli was excellent. Perfectly baked and full of sausage, meatball, pepperoni, bacon and mozzarella cheese. What we had leftover was almost as good heated up the next day. I would go back for this again in a second. Overall, I think I would go back to try the pizza and definitely to get the stromboli. I would probably get it as carry out though since the restaurant itself was just not all that welcoming.

Boulevard Pizzeria is a great place to go if you’re looking for a quick and cheap lunch. There are two specials. One of them is 2 slices of pizza and a drink. The other is all you can eat pizza and salad bar for about $ 5.99. If you opt for the buffet, it is pretty much self-serve once you order your drink. You can pick from about two or three different kinds of pizza(usually pepperoni, cheese, and sausage), meatballs, sometimes pasta, and a full salad bar that includes the GOOD stuff, pepperoni and peperocini. My other favorite meal to order here is their Greek salad. It is no baby side salad… the portions are HUGE. It would take me two sittings to finish it. I’ve also tried the lobster ravioli, which is another popular lunch special. It’s good for the price! Service is okay. Don’t expect much, but I’ve never had a bad experience here. You will be quickly seated and there’s usually no wait.

Of all the places I eat in HRVA this happens to be my fav. I love love the Stromboli their calamari is outstanding and the wings are good. The Spaghetti Carbonara is out standing as well. The price point is great and the portions you will have plenty to warm up tomorrow.

This is a wonderfully nifty hole in the wall eatery. Their lunch buffet is ballin’ if you want a cheap, filling meal on the fly. They have the best salad bar I’ve seen in a while and it’s super cheap. Maybe too cheap? I feel like they may lose a bit of money on it, but I’m not complaining. It’s always kept fresh and clean. You can get as much pizza, pasta, soup, drinks, and salad as you want for the ultra-low price of $ 6. Their pizza is on par with the salad. The only time their pizza was slightly dry was from being in the spinner during lunch. They have the nicest calamari I’ve tasted in a while. I don’t recommend their spaghetti or sampler platter. Spaghetti sauce tastes like off-brand spaghetti sauce in a can, pasta is overcooked, the sampler platter is all fried food, too much fried stuff on one plate. The only thing I think they should work on is paying their wait staff better to beef up enthusiasm. I can tell their girls are pretty unhappy while working there. They seem to rotate through a lot of girls, I’ve only seen one waitress more than once. It’s incredibly hard to place an order via the phone. Your best bet is going up there in person to order and taking out. Also, their menu is WAY too big. I’d like to see them narrow it down to their basics– what they’re good at. Some of the things I’ve mentioned are a good start.

I’m going to keep this short and sweet: yes, they have great take out pizza and if that’s all you want, then this place will adequately meet expectations. But if you are trying to dine in, fuggettaboutit. This is NOT that place. The booths and tables were dirty. Despite the renovations, the place is still tired and sad. Wait staff should not act genuinely shocked when a guest comes in and ACTUALLY wants dine in service! But to be left at the table for TEN minutes without a drink order, while wait staff are laughing and talking in the back, um, NO. That’s just laziness. And it’s RARE that I walk out of a restaurant, but that night, we did. And we went to Carraba’s After we told them our story, they totally hooked us up. So, I will probably get my handmade pies from Napoli’s, down the street and save the dine in experience for Carraba’s, but not this place.

We’ve ordered a 24″(maybe larger) pizza here twice before. It was huge and fed a lot of people. Good pizza will order here again! Won’t go back to a chain pizzeria if Boulevard is an option.
