My spoke on my Cannondale Synapse snapped off which basically shut me down from riding (which was the main reason we went to Island in the first place) I was soooo thankful I got the privilege to meet the owner/​proprietor John who quickly was able to repair my wheel and get me on my way. I’d called other bike shops explaining my situation and they referred me to bring my bike to John.
John also took the time to give me solid riding advice regarding my choice of riding equipment which allowed me to finally put to bed questions I’d been looking for. I’d definitely bring my bike here.

This shop does really great work at a very reasonable price. Very experienced owner (in business for 40 years so far), John, is capable of doing any repair that can be done, and will take the time to walk you through anything you need to know about it. John is a true believer in old school customer service, I see him for the holistic bike repair experience, not to drop off and go. My favorite repair shop at home or on the island.

I took my forty year old peugot to their shop in the middle of the summer season. The owner, John Stevenson, spent a half hour getting me on the road. He took special care to save the existing tire and even fixed my cranky gearshifter. The total bill was way less than I expected for such expert service.

Terrible condescending owner that will not stop talking for any time to allow you a word in edgewise. Ask a simple question and it will not get answered, you will get a huge story about why you should buy something you’re not interested in. As you try to leave he will hound you until you are out the door. I’m not going back.
