Well, I’ll say first that the rooms are okay. I’ll tell a bit of my story. I stayed in this hotel for a considerable time after a leg injury. They had a weekly rate which was very nice, and the rooms are a decent size. The problem is the management. They do not know to run a business nor do they understand how customer service works. I had to leave the hotel for just a few days, as I had to get leg surgery. I was going to spend a bit more time at the hotel recovering. I made a reservation, and subsequently travelled just to get to this hotel. When I arrive, I am notified that they will no longer offer me the weekly rate and that prices have went up. It’s a considerable difference. I told them an employee made my reservation, and the employee also contacted the manager afterward to notify her that he had booked me. None of this mattered, and the weekly rate I was expecting was not honored I have spend a lot of time and money here, and would have spent more in the future. This will be my last day I ever spend at this hotel I do realize that management does not care, but they have just lost a customer for life.

I’ve been coming to the Days Inn for years. As a youngster I used to come here to rent rooms for get togethers. That was 10 years ago. Not one thing has been updated since then. I rented this time because I was familiar with this place and came to town to visit family. My husband and I were horrified. We got a smoking room but we are no where near heavy smokers. The moment we walked in, it smelled like someone had just finished chain smoking in there. It was disgusting. Then, the toilet got clogged and over flowed, for someone reason the later at the front desk said they had no plunger. So I had to go to Walmart to buy a plunger and a mop. They told me there was nothing they could do about the smell and the rug was so dirty it felt like pudding. Not to mention the baby roaches I had spotted on the dresser. The king sized bed was sunken in on one side as well. The only good thing was it was quiet and they nice hot water. I’ll never come here again. I paid in advance for 4 days, I had to check out a day earlier, I couldn’t take it anymore. I’ll take my money else where next time, maybe the Ramada or Wingate. They lost a loyal customer.

I never thought I’d have a reason to stay at the Days Inn, but I’m going through a divorce and recently found myself essentially homeless. Days Inn was in my price range because they have a weekly contract rate which doesn’t include regular maid service or use of the pool. The contract rate includes clean linens and maid service twice a week which was fine. I expected the rooms to be small and smelly and they weren’t. I stayed at several hotels and motels over the past month, and both of my rooms at the Days Inn smelled WAAAY better than some of the more expensive places I stayed. The room and bathroom were clean– my main complaint was that the carpet desperately needed to be shampooed– my feet were black after walking on the carpet. My other complaint is that there is only one washer and dryer and they are SUPER small– so doing laundry there is impossible. But the shower and shower curtain were mildew free, which is a rare thing in motels, so I was really pleased about that. The room was spacious, and included a table and two charis, a huge comfy kind-sized bed and smooshy pillows, a coffee pot, a really large mini fridge, wifi-service, HBO and a daily $ 5-off coupon for the Denny’s next door. The best part was, our housekeeper had an AWESOME sense of humor. Let’s just say she handled finding some eye-brow raising things in my room and handled it in a way that had me and my boyfriend lauging our asses off. That, more than anything scored major points with me. All in all, I was very happy with the room and the service at the Days Inn.
