Went to Evan’s with a buddy from the war in Iraq. It’s was great, had the Nachos very good. Pulled pork was excellent. Tried the the ribs a bit dry, but very meaty, they just switched vendors. The tea was great, it’s a big deal in the south. Our sever Holly was excellent!

The bbq egg rolls are soo good! Wings are delicious. Great sandwiches and hot dogs. Cute restaurant, friendly staff. It’s really good I’ve never had a bad experience.

Very good food. I won’t say it’s the best bbq. However, they have one unique item that will knock your socks off, and I haven’t found them anywhere else. BBQ Egg Rolls! They are the bomb! They are so addictive, I stop in for them about once a week. Everyone I’ve told to try them has fallen in love with them!

This place will not disappoint you. Everything is good here. I love and recommend the ribs, the boss hog, and the bbq egg roll.

Bar b que is tasty. Great burgers as well. Fairly priced Friendly staff service and wait times have always been good I’ve had all the bar b que in the area and I rate this the highest. One of my family’s fav places to catch a quick bite in Villa Rica area Must try!

Called in a order which they messed it up … Then when I called to see with could be done about it was told that they would replace it the NEXT time I come in not the day they made the mistake but would in fact fix it days later I’m sorry I don’t think that’s how it works… Customers service is very bad… They lost my business…

This place has some of the best ribs I’ve had in life. Better than JJ’s Rib Shack. Great smoked wings. Call ahead and pick up; they can get quite busy.

Great Food, great service. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Great BBQ and daily specials. The egg rolls are fantastic, definitely a must try dish. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on their menu.

Amazing pork, great portions for the money, fun atmosphere, friendly and good service, cute outside patio. Unexpected gem in a quaint little town. Just passing through and LOVED it!

Great BBQ, they serve up good portions at good prices. Went there for lunch, get there a little early because it fills up fast. Even though it gets busy the food comes out pretty quick.

Boss Hog and BBQ egg rolls are my favorite. Seating is limited for large groups but calling in your order and picking up at the drive thru is very convenient.

Evan’s just keeps getting better and better. Try the hamburger piled high with piled pork. And the catfish is always a winner. And never forget to end your meal with one of their smoked cobblers. This small, hidden gem had some of the best BBQ in Georgia.

To start I have to say that the food was worth wait. But I have to start with the wait. We got there and the place was packed, which is always a good sign. However, there is no clear place to go and tell someone that you’d like to be seated. I found myself asking two different employees «excuse me, where do we go to be seated?» To which they both replied «there’s a long wait». Kinda confusing, but once someone took our name we began to wait outside for about 30−45mins, not too long but there was nowhere to sit. Once we sat down the food and service were great! We will definitely be back!

I will drive from Carrollton to Villa Rica to eat at Evan’s any day. I love their food so much that I am going to have them cater my wedding rehearsal. :D :D

Oh my! What a hidden gem!
I absolutely loved everything I ate here. It was kind of hidden, so I think I would’ve passed by it if I hadn’t already looked it up. Also, it’s a little confusing when you get there because there are two buildings, both with indoor seating and and outside eating area. We went to he back building and it turned out that it was the right place to be.
Service was prompt and polite. We never found ourselves in need because the waitress was on top of it. She even recommended and offered things that we wouldn’t have thought of.
Now on to the food — fantastic!!! We started with the BBQ Eggrolls. Pork BBQ, cheddar cheese, onions, and spicy remoulade. It was the perfect appetizer size and tasted so fresh. I will definitely have that again.
For our entires, I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and my husband had the Boss Hog. Mine was different from other chicken salads I’ve had, but good nonetheless. Nothing about it necessarily wowed me, but it was still satisfying. The seasoned fries were really good, although a little salty for my taste. Good paring overall though.
My husband’s Boss Hog was very good, but very large. It was the same BBQ type as the Eggrolls, so it was already going to be good. The fried green egg on top was a great asset to the overall sandwich. However, like I said, it was big. After cutting it in half, it was still difficult to eat. My husband said he would’ve preferred a little less meat so he could’ve enjoyed it as a sandwich, whereas he had to deconstruct it some to eat it.
We chose the Smoked Cobbler for dessert — which was a peach-​apple cobbler. The crust was my favorite part! It was crisp and broke apart in your mouth, but at the same time, melted too. Both the apples and peach slices were cooked to perfection. They were soft, but not overdone. The dish had a perfect amount of sweetness with a slight warmth. However, I wouldn’t have say no to some ice cream on top of it was offered.

Locally owned, reasonable prices, awesome barbecue and friendly staff. What’s not to like!

This is some good behind bbq! Pulled pork melts in your mouth and the ribs are so flippin tender. Hubs got a Boss Hog sandwich and it made him have to eat it slowly because of how jam packed it is with the good stuff AND A GREEN TOMATO. Cant make that man eat vegetables to save his life but he loved the fried green tomato.
And these spareribs are not the rinky dink ones you find at those sorry chains like Applebees and Chilis. These things are massive. i got half a pail, six ribs. Took me 3 mealtimes to eat them a.
The wait time in the drive thru is long, but I couldnt figure out want I wanted at that time anyway lol. But we ended up parking in the lot (pretty good parking) and grubbed down. Bomb ass food, especially those fries with the pulled pork on em. And the mop sauce takes it to the top. This is carolina bbq, a vinegar based bbq sauce that isnt thick its supposed to be mopped onto the meat as its being grilled. But damn, it sure is good being poured onto everything.
Expensive, yes. Good as hell and worth it? Double yes.

We stopped in on a trip from Charleston, SC to Memphis, TN and were extremely impressed. The atmosphere is great and the food was amazing. The barbecue pork egg rolls were awesome! Friendly servers and delicious food made for an excellent and highly recommended pit stop!

Three of us ate there on 3÷13÷20 015. We ordered at the drive thru, 3 BBQ pork sandwiches with fries and 1 order of potato salad. The sandwiches were hot and delicious with generous portions of meat and fries. The next time we eat in Villa Rica we”ll definitely eat there again. THANKS!

The bbq egg rolls were delicious but what really caught my taste buds was the remoulade sauce. Out of this world delicious! So much so that we had to order some to go.
Meat super flavorful like I haven’t found in Atlanta, yet. Smoky and seasoned very well without being salty.
Highly recommend.
Definitely coming back to try the smoked cobbler and the subs. :-)
