K & J Heating and Cooling

I had K&J come to my house to service my furnace after I told them what the diagnostic code was and the person on the phone didn’t know what I was talking about. The red light was flashing every 20 seconds or so, and the green light was flashing 4 times. I told this to the person on the phone. The service guy told us that it would be $ 109.00 service call for him to tell me what I told the person on the phone. He said that there was nothing wrong with the furnace, that this was normal. So, we asked him to do a cleaning instead so that it wouldn’t be a wasted trip, he said yes. After a couple of minutes, he said that the furnace was already clen that there was nothing he could do for us. He then told my wife that it would be an additional cost $ 119.00 for the cleaning.
If I could give NEGATIVE stars for this company, I would!!!

K & J just installed top of the line Trane AC and furnace units in my home I couldn’t be more pleased. They showed up precisely at the prearranged time and were finished with everything in a few hours. They put down tarps to not soil the floor and cleaned up everything before they left. K & J thoroughly explained how to care for our new Trane units, answered all of our questions and told us to please call anytime if we have any problems. They even filled out all the warranty and rebate paperwork for us — amazing! I will not hesitate to call K & J for our future needs and I will certainly be referring them to local family and friends. Support this local business… I’m certain you will not be disappointed.

We had a new AC/​Furnance installed about 5 years ago and began having issues last summer with the AC unit. Although I was frustrated with having to deal with on again/​off again AC issues, Linda, Vince and Jeff were immediately on top of the issues and came out to our home within 24 hours each time I called. Their service is incredible and they definitely do not leave you hanging with the problem. K&J was repeatedly out here analyzing and correcting the issues until our unit was up and working again properly. They definitely stand by their product and provide great service. PS. I initially received 3 bids for heat/​AC and chose K&J…and I’m glad I did!

Very professional team from the sales guy doing the estimate to the installers. I got many estimates and nothing compared to K&J. These guys are honest and need to make a profit too but they are not out to gouge their customers. I got a top of line Trane furnace and decent A/​C for a great price. Their competitors were in some cases $ 1500+ for subpar units. I highly recommend K&J and would be glad to be a reference for them. Message me if you have any questions.
