I had a great experience with Justin – above and beyond my expectations. 1st, be patient with him returning your calls – he is actually WORKING and I respect that he didn’t return my calls on demand. It was fine and like me, he has two numbers, so just be patient. 2nd, I confirmed with him at least weekly, and he always confirmed.(I was very nervous because of past experiences). 3rd, he showed up EXACTLY on time, which is VERY hard to do in the mountains! 4th, by the time he showed up, I was terrified all of my stuff would not fit in the truck; to my surprise, he got EVERYTHING packed in there tightly and compact – only a professional mover could do that. AND he roped everything in segments. 5th, I was quite certain that the truck would not make it up my little hill – about 45 degrees and 20 feet. Third time was a charm – he took that truck right up that hill. I NEVER would have been able to do it. Without Justin, I would not have been able to meet my deadline and would have been snowed in. Being in a very bad personal situation on top of the stress of moving off a mountain, words can’t express my thankfulness for Big Man Moving. I can recommend them. There are other reviews for Big Man Moving on Unilocal,but for some reason, only the bad review is showing from Eva on 1÷13÷15. Unilocal seems to be blocking the other good reviews unless you click on a button. I am going to contact Unilocal about this, because I think it’s very bad to do this. If that review bothers you, I encourage you to ask Julian; I never saw it before I moved, but something is just not right.

I wouldn’t trust these guys again and would not recommend them to anyone. On the day of my move, they just didn’t show up. We had talked on the phone about three times and I had emailed several times, and so I know we had the date right and everything arranged for a 9:30 arrival time at my house. 9:30 rolls around and then 10:00 am and no show, no phone call, no nothing. I called several times, but Julian just didn’t pick up. I even emailed, and got nothing back. It was snowing out, so I could see calling because of the snow and asking to reschedule or move it until later in the day. But no phone call, no nothing? That’s terrible. I ended up being able to find some college kids on Bellhops who helped us with the move, so it worked out in the end, but that’s a credit to the Bellhops who scrambled to find me a crew to work the same day, in the snow, and for actually less money than I was slated to pay Big Man. Incredible. I should have known there would be a problem, because Julian, while very nice on the phone and civil, would never get back to me when I’d call or send an email. It was frustrating to get ahold of him in the first place, so no wonder he flaked out on our move. Don’t use!!!
