I am petrified of dentists and anyone associated with them — I literally throw up at the thought of going to see them so I avoid them at any cost until I am in dire straights!
My dentist recommended Dr Suh as I needed a root canal badly. I made an appointment and forced myself to go.
His staff were really friendly and helpful.
Dr Suh saw me and I told him of my fears. From minute one, he was gentle with me. He kept asking me throughout the root canal procedure if I was ok and if I was in pain. Dr Suh was so thoughtful towards my fear and nervousness.
He finished and I could not believe it — I felt no pain (yes I was still numb from the anesthetic), I had not shed one tear nor had I thrown up! I didn’t have ay panic attacks like I normally do.
I left the office and a couple of hours later, Dr Suh himself called me to ask how I was doing, if there was any pain and to check up on me.
I cannot rave about him enough. I would recommend Dr Suh at the drop of a hat. He and his staff are wonderful.
I was a little worried on cost but I researched cost for many before I went with Dr Suh and he is no more expensive than any of the others I looked up. That was a bonus.

I have had 2 root canals from Dr. Suh. He his very efficient and his front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. The office is professional and I am happy with the service I received. It’s not fun getting a root canal but I am primarily concerned about having it done properly and I feel Dr. Suh is very knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend.

Good endodontist. knowledgeable.
However he is expensive. And counts every penny. Will not help a patient with financial needs. He is definitely in it for the money. And I have a feeling he screwed up one of my root canal’s, and it will not take ownership

Dr. Suh called me several weeks ago because he saw my Unilocal review and was upset by it. He apologized for the pain caused by the procedure and his overall demeanor. He said that he’s really tried to use my negative experience as a wake-​up call, to take pain management more seriously, to check in with patients more often, and otherwise improve this aspect of his practice. I was surprised by his candor and humility, and I think more of him as a dentist and as human being as a result. Dr. Suh has a very impressive academic background and I truly believe he could be an excellent dentist if he honed his interpersonal skills and empathy. I believe from our phone call that he’s trying to do just this. So kudos, Dr. Suh. I wish you the best.

Dr. Suh is an excellent doctor who did such a great job on my son’s 2 root canals, that he was up and out of the house on the same day. He also fixed some really bad work done by another dentist for my stepfather. He was recommended by a doctor at Reston Hospital Center for my stepfather and so both he and my son have used him. I would highly recommend.

I have seen Dr. Suh twice… Not that it’s a good thing being at the dentist at all, but when I had to be there, he did a good job with my teeth. He is very professional and has modern equipment.
