I don’t know why I’ve never Unilocaled this particular Subway before. It’s on my way to and from work and it’s close to the BEST Subway I’ve been to ever(and I’ve been going to Subway since I was 9 and lived in CT… since have gone to Subway’s in OR, DC, VA, MD, CA, WA, AL, MI, MO, NC&GA over the last 30 years). The employees are fast, fast, fast… customer service is wonderful, they’re open early, they stay open late, the worst experience I’ve ever had was one time I got bread which was a little dry. Once. In almost 2 years.

I’ve been going to this subway for years and only had a problem once. This particular store is one of the largest selling subways in the DC area because it’s like a train station during lunchtime. There are a large number of major employers based nearby(mine is one of them) and it can become like a production line factory between the hours of 11AM and 2PM. I work at night, so I usually don’t have the same problems that some of these other Unilocalers have written about. However I feel compelled to write quite simply because I think the average of two stars is unfair to the reality of the business. It’s certainly better than what it appears from all the bad write-ups. My advice would be to visit this subway outside of lunch hours. During the evenings and around dinner time this spot is just fine. They even have outdoor seating in front of the restaurant itself which is pretty rare for a subway. Tip: There is additional parking in the rear.

worst subway out there. i’ve finally learned not to go back. they forgot to put the veggy patty on the sandwich on THREE separate occassions. when they did remember, it was usually overcooked and burned so i couldn’t even eat it. my friend got food poisoning from them recently too. and yes, they are incredibly skimpy with the toppings. when ordering a veggie sandwich, you should actually put some veggies on it. i think they’ll be hurting with firebox opening next door.

The worst subway ever. How could they serve stale bread? I ordered a veggie sandwich and of course, the bread is 1⁄3 of the sandwich so all I had was staleness. I thought they were supposed to make their breads daily, well not this one!

Yes, decent food for cheap. But the subs keep getting leaner and the staff keeps speaking less and less of the English language. Clean and fast, but not impressive.

I am generally not a big fan of subway — for both reasons — food and service. So when my colleagues wanted Subway for one of our lunch included meetings, I went to this Subway with an order of 7 subs! There were over 10 people in line and by the time I got to the front of the line, another 10 had joined in after me. The moment I took my order sheet out, I could see the people behind me break out in to a collective sigh! I’m sure a few even contemplated going to another place. But the person behind the counter right away dedicated one of the sub makers to me while the rest started servicing other customers! I think that was a brilliant move and the line did not have to slow down because of me. Wish other businesses were as agile in taking care of these situations! Now to the subs — quality is still the same — A-OK — I would prefer other sub places over Jarid’s favorite — Subway. But the 4 stars are just for my experience in ordering subs today!

This subway sucks. Several times now, I’ve been stuck in line next to the lettuce, sandwich in hand & ready to pay. The same idiot at the counter, ringing people up is a complete incompetent baffoon.
